What you say is true, TC, but hopefully we can send them a few coins through our Good Ole Grizzlies NIL to persuade them to say and if that doesn't work, recruit the next Styles Goodman or Micah Harper to replace them !!!

It 100% is. The way this portal works now you have to recruit the very best team you can land each fall, hope to win, and then expect major changes and try to do the best you can again for the following season. Rinse lather repeat
It reminds of how the Pioneer League teams had to reload every year. Sure wish the Mustangs could have held on to George Brett for a couple more summers!

I was an usher for the Osprey when Goldie played here. He was a man among boys that season, and I have followed him ever since. Just makes me sad he has never played for s team I rooted for.
‘68, you will have to explain what an usher is for younger readers. In your description please include the terms ‘creeper’, ‘cringe’, and/or ‘brat’ to assist them.
All of those terms probably came into play at one time or another. But, the very worst were parents who thought their kids could do anything they pleased and were not happy to be told they couldn’t … and people angry because their seat was/wasn’t in the sun or was/wasn’t behind the foul ball screen. Every night was an adventure.
I don’t know, if they threw in free beer and a cattle prod it sounds like a pretty cool way to spend a summer at the ballpark.
