That's not what happened. He came to a complete stop, then assaulted the trash can revealing his true character while his team was getting theor ass handed to them on the field.

It should have been an unsportsmanlike penalty and they shouldnhave stopped the game and made him clean it up. It was classless and it's who the cats are at their core

To be real, he ran well out of bounds, past the players, and intentionally flipped the trashcan over with his hand. It was just really weird. The Bizons were just like, "OK? Cool prank, Farva." Odd moment in the game.

i don't know, compared to the fat buffalo coach, who abounded with poorly disguised put-downs and odd bravado for a head coach, i thought mellott was downright mature.

also, he was still trying to slow down when he met the trash can. what's he supposed to do, come to an abrupt stop and preserve it's integrity? pushing it over gave him a couple more steps to safely stop.
