I have despised Iowa since September 2, 2006. There was no need to keep playing the first-string offense to run up the score on UM. Fun tailgates, though.

He gave 5 years of his life and won 2 nattys at sdsu, I'd say he earned this one. I hate the portal and the overall lack of loyalty, but this situation seems a little different

And he apparently had some 7 figure NIL offers last year from the Big 10 but stayed at SDSU with his guys. He's got full pass from me. I'd like to see what he could do. The longtime Iowa coach is a good coach and good guy. I met Ferentz once, through my Dartmouth friend who played high school with him in Pittsburgh. My friend said he's a great guy, and they are still friends. The Iowa stadium is cool. We got a nice Friday practice tour at the "new" stadium when the Griz played Iowa a number of years ago.

He's definitely an upgrade from what Iowa has had in recent years, but that is a tough trend to buck. Kirk ferentz seems to be dead set on being terrible offensively. I'm rooting for Gronowski!

I believe UM scored early in the 3d Q, and then Iowa finally came alive, along with its crowd.
