Griz- NFL Hopefuls

Most kids aren't fans of coaches that are hard on them. When I was in college, there were players that weren't big fans of BH, but when they talk now they talk about how deeply the discipline was instilled in them, and how that has helped them in life. I was on the field after a game last year, and saw a backup that never played that was in the dorm down the hall from me giving him a big hug. I absolutely hated one of my high school basketball coaches, I think he probably taught you English if he hadn't retired yet, and I still thank him for being as hard on me as he was. He taught me things that nobody else would, because they were uncomfortable.

This is for "fans," man. I know you come here wanting to demand everyone be rational to your liking and agree with your points, but sometimes part of being a fan is just being a fan and rooting for the kids. No need to yuck on other folks' yum.

My only point is that I talked to you when you first joined the board under the previous name, and we get along just fine. You would feel the same with 99% of Griz fans. Come tailgate with me sometime, and you will see that Griz fans in real life are nothing like the way people bicker on here.

You have too much to be enjoying in life to be angry on here, and I genuinely mean that. eGriz can make people really pissy, I know it does me at times, and you have every opportunity to put that aside and go enjoy girls and sports and all the fun in the world while you are hitting the prime of your life. My only advice is don't become like the retirees on here that have spent some much of their life here bitching about the Griz and the Griz coaches that it has become a part of their personality and an integral part of their day. It isn't fun in the long run.
Fair. But I am just saying some guys I know don’t like their position coaches currently. That could obviously change. I also agree that many gris fans are great people. There are really only 2-3 posters on here who are ridiculous. Considering the gris have 8 home games next year I’m sure I’ll make it by the tailgate 😂😂

Lol, so you are doubling down on thinking they want to wait till spring and make a move after all the other good positions at other universities have been filled?

Gillman will be here, and that is according to him and his family. If any linemen leave, it will be backups who were told during winter or spring that they should look for an opportunity elsewhere. That is how this works in the modern era of the transfer portal.

Perhaps you could take up shuffleboard or pickle ball to give you something healthy and constructive to do with your time? Your doctor will be happy you brought down your blood pressure by staying off of the internet.

Hope this helps.
Funny as hell that you think I’m 20-year-old is honest. Check cliffs Twitter post last year right before he entered the portal. Man you’re dumb

I'm curious. What's with the (gris)? I know there are some on here that say (bubs) and (sixx) but they're dipshits.

You must be thinking of @alabamagrizzly, he is far more likely to gaslight you than I am. Kidding!

I genuinely don't remember that, all I remember is trying to tell a couple of people that he was really who he said he was. But if I somehow was wrong and did that, I apologize now!
My kind of gaslighting…😁

Hayden Harris definitely has a chance. And his stats would have been much better if he had help on the dline. He's got the frame, could use some more muscle.

I see him getting some camp invites and maybe getting on a practice squad.

Keelan White can play at the next level with his hands, he's just not super fast. I think he has a decent chance at making an NFL roster and I guarantee at the worst he will play in the CFL. Dudes got glue hands

My only advice to egret posters is to not become like you and spend time giving life advice on a message board requested by less than 100 people. I hope when Fife is a supervisor someday, he realizes he can't tell one of his employees to F-Off and still have his job.

This is pretty good analysis. Both of these players just need a camp opportunity to work towards a practice squad or special teams roster spot. Then they can continue to develop into a bigger contributor on a team.

They have the tools. Just need to show a team what they have and continue to grow.

There isn't one player on the Griz that can make it in the NFL. We do not have the talent anymore that we used to. I don't expect we will improve in this until much needed change is forced on the fan base.

Gillman. It will interesting to see if Bergen can get any traction. What about Casey? Hill and Gubner are already signed in the CFL for next year. White will definitely make at least a CFL team.

How many Cats and Griz are on active rosters now? How many injured reserve? How many practice squad?

Drop me a line, I'll take you on a tailgate tour. It will be fun.

Huh? You're either already drunk for the day or you're so angry you aren't thinking straight. Gillman and the linemen didn't leave. Cliff's situation is an outlier, and doesn't change that.

Go watch Ohio state or Alabama or LSU practice sometime and you’ll see walkons that will never see the field that have a better shot at the nfl.
