Ya, Bobby's a coaching phenom. What's he had - 13 or 14 years to win a national championship and hasn't been able to get it done. But wait, he also took a stint in the FBS for about five years so you'd think he might have been able to at least win a bowl game? Nope.

I think he's about 60 years old, do you really think he could still win a national championship?

Sure, he could win a national championship. Had a good chance to win one last year, but the game got away from the Griz as the 3d quarter went on. Do you think coaches over 60 can't win championships?

It’s small men like you that do the most harm. Spoke to a good cat friend of 40+ years the other day and thought it would be cool for him to experience a cat championship. The guy always supported the Griz on playoff runs. Then came a group text from friends and 1 person in that group left me hoping the cats get crushed.

Same on this board, lots of smart and funny cat fans that seem to be great guys. It just takes 1 or 2 idiotic ‘ambassadors of vim’ to ruin any good will I have for the cats.

It’s the small men like you, poorgriz, the ones that play the zero sum game that do the most harm. Leaves me looking forward to imagining tears running down your bobcat batter encrusted face on game day.

Absolutely I think there are coaches over 60 that can win national championships, just not Bobby. As for the "good chance" last year, not accurate. Just like the Cats didn't have a "good chance" against NDSU in 2021, even if Tommy wouldn't have gotten injured. I don't think you understand how critical it is to have dominant OL and DL.

Hey man, blame the streak and how the vast majority of griz fans behaved during it.Those fans made me who I am today. I used to pull for the griz back in the olden days, went to some playoffs with my buddies, until the streak. So now - like you, I enjoy watching those griz fans (The type that were relentless during the streak) get what is coming to them.

The Griz had good OL and DL last year, and should have performed better in second half. McDowell didn't show well, and the fumble at the wrong time took away the early 3d Q momentum. The coaches and team expected to win the game and were very disappointed.

Wow, that's crazy. Imagine a team making it all the way to Frisco and expecting to win. When Cats made it to Frisco in 2021 Vigen gave a pre game speech something like, "Ok guys, we did it, we made it to Frisco! Now... there's no way in hell you're going to win this game so just go out there and have fun, and don't get hurt."

No, you actually commenting that a team went to Frisco expecting to win, is stupid. That's damn near as stupid as making a post that says - "The team with the most points wins the game."

Definitely happens on both sides. I was extremely stoked for the Griz’s playoff run last year and some dork I know, despite my support, just wanted to fling his shit at anyone he could. So took the Championship loss and me reminding him that he’s always been a muggle, non-athlete, for me to reset to wish the best for the Griz again this season. Stealing a line from Hoops, it’s always those that never played, any sport, that seem to be the worst and poorgriz, pocket pool is not a sanctioned sport.
