What decline in special teams? Why was there such a decline in special teams? That is where you see the biggest issues with young talent.

If he sticks around. Considering he was trained by Kingsbury and Riley I'm confident he could/will compete to be the starter.NCAA grants extra year of eligibility to JUCO players.
We got Jensen for two years now
That kid will be what 27 when he’s done ? We have any PhD programs?NCAA grants extra year of eligibility to JUCO players.

Oh for sure, but in the end, Davis didn’t cut it, and is Vigan really going to play at MSU, or just “for dad” then transfer to Carroll? I haven’t seen him play. MSU offense is absolutely duel threat heavy, obviously so can’t imagine he really had a shot. Who knows. He won’t follow dad to Wazzu…so maybe the next coach will run pro style.Peace man, I completely agree. But there are still a few teams running the pro style like UCD and ISU did this year. Vigan recruited his own son and he's not really the duel threat type.
7400 yards and 61 TDs as a 3 year starter. Those are video game numbers. Find me a MT QB with those statsQB wins are not a stat.
His HS stats look remarkably normal. He averaged ~2500 yards, 20 TD's and 10 INT's each of his sophomore, junior, and senior year with a 56% completion percentage. Hardly what I would call video game numbers.
I’m not sure why a MT QB is the goalpost here, kind of an odd benchmark considering the QB play is generally pretty weak. And you didn’t even use the top QB in the state…(that would be Jackson Presley).7400 yards and 61 TDs as a 3 year starter. Those are video game numbers. Find me a MT QB with those stats
Grant Vigen who is supposed to be the top dog QB in MT had 3511 yards and 46 TDs in 2 seasons as a starter for comparison.
So would you say Vigen's HS stats are substandard, then?I’m not sure why a MT QB is the goalpost here, kind of an odd benchmark considering the QB play is generally pretty weak. And you didn’t even use the top QB in the state…(that would be Jackson Presley).
Anyways, video game numbers usually means far out of the ordinary. Somebody like Jake Browning in HS. He threw for 90+ TD’s his senior year.
I’m not knocking Jensen. They’re just standard D1 QB HS stats v
I’d say for a Montana QB, they’re about average. So would you say Vigen's HS stats are substandard, then?
