Idk Olson's energy is fantastic. A real motivator. Why do you think he'd be a better option? Also NDSUs defense is what makes them championship caliber.

Because the clear issue under Bobby has been the offense. The 24 D was an outlier. We need to hire somebody who can fix the offense.

I think the offense would be fine if it was consistent. The first 5 games this year was really good. Defense sucked all year. Bradford had a good defense for us but, before that the defense wasn't great either, was kinda bad. We had 1 really good defensive year in Bobby 2.0. I think most of the offensive issues are just not having the right QB.

Also NDSUs offense is pretty basic, they just have a talented O Line, really good RBS, and a decent QB. The O line is the most important thing.

I would guess if someone was gonna pony up that much money, they’d probably prefer it go to NIL deals to pay some studs and ride out the last two years of the winningest coach in con history. He’ll at least get us to the playoffs. Not renewing him could also persuade a real promising coach who has some good choices and see that we’re serious about elevating our program to that championship expectation level.
