New QB?

BYU tested QBs and Lineman/LBs in 4.8 to 5.0 range against each other for 40yd times.
Ran drills between 3 yard spread bags....QB vs Linemen....straight on or parallel to line.
QBs made lineman look like they were one dimensional movers....feet, hips, shoulders,
head, eyes made QBs evasive and athletic on the move looking to run or pass. Speed
is good, first 5-8 yards create timing and angles for runners and throwers.

Thanks. I agree that more INT’s are returned for TD’s than fumbles, but still disagree on the field position point. I can’t find a compiled data set on it either. Agree to disagree.
So, you agree with me that interceptions usually don't get returned beyond the line of scrimmage? Yes, I agree more picks than fumbles are returned for TD's. Many picks are not returned at all or much, and many are 40 yards downfield.

Yes, I agree. fumbling results in giving up worse starting field position than throwing an interception.

I have no clue by how many yards, I assume it ends up being close, somewhere between a 5-10 yard difference when averaged out for all teams/all season.

Hauck has said that fumbles are unacceptable, interceptions are gonna happen. He doesn’t like either but he’s pretty definite about which is worse.

And putting aside any bias you may have regarding him, we can all agree he knows more about football than anyone that posts on this board.
