With the FBS playoffs, is anyone even remotely interested in the non-playoff bowl games?

I’m not really interested. And I’m sure they will. All they’ve talked about is the Playoffs. Haven’t even seen the classic “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” Bowl Season commercial.

They would be wise tho once the playoffs start to still do all the pageantry and pomp associated with the old bowls. Specially the Rose bowl.

Always been about matchups for me.

You would hope they would

Desmond Watson, Florida DT and RB was interesting, 6'5", 450#. He moved the pile when at RB. Got the crowd into the game. Shades of 'Refrigerator' Willam Perry. Looked like he took a Heisman pose after one carry. Florida players and staff got a hoot out of it. Me too,!

The traditional Bowl games are part of the playoffs. Viewership will be higher.
Did you not read the title of the thread and see the words "non-playoff bowl games"? You really have lost it. Dementia clearly setting in.

I'm sure not interested. Maybe there will be a few worth watching.

I wonder if bowl game ratings will go down or plummet.
My guess is they will go down.

I did enjoy most of the Tulane v Florida game. Saw Tulane in person this year, so had a connection.

I will watch Army and Navy games. I will also watch a BIG and Big 12 school in their games...have daughters attending.

Otherwise - the playoff is going to steal the oxygen.

Love the puffy shirt announcers at the Gasparilla Bowl. I just like college football. Must be a few bad fans in the building.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been interested in uniforms. The color on color of the Sam Houston vs. Georgia Southern matchup last night was spectacular.
I would love to see a Brawl where they did maroon and yellow.
