USC Transfer QB Jake Jensen Commits

What nonsense. Arguing out of both sides of your mouth. Like storing Wop Chops and Mo burgers in au jus. Complete nonsense.

Btw, I never got the invite to the box you “own” as you promised. What, were you also band from WaGriz too? Just like here? Probably said something stupid, huh? Imagine that.
When are going to post something worth while instead of spending your time attacking posters with trivial shit?

You mean like spending days arguing that The Griz should play NAIA teams?
You ever see those Key and Peele skits where Luthor was the anger translator for Obama? I'm ready to hire you to be mine.

His stats will impress everyone on this site.

I will combine them
2023 and 2024 Stat line

3 games 2 rushes for zero yards.

This guy was born to play under Hauck. If you don't throw, you can't have interceptions.

He's perfect, #ChattyNatty here we come!!!
Sounds like he knows how to take a knee.

Trust Justin Green--if the kid had no talent, I am pretty sure Justin, with input from Pease and BH, would not have recruited him nor Reilly and USC would just let him hang out for the last two years on SC's roster. I am pretty sure Jensen has a live arm and can also use his legs to make plays.

And since the kid is LDS and already been on a mission, I don't think we'll be running into him downtown @ The MO Club, Red's, or Stock's, even during the off season !!!

Thanks for taking the bait again and admitting that McDowell was a dominant player. All the other ones you mentioned didn’t even win a quarterfinal game.
Nope. Didn’t say anyone was dominant. In fact, I specifically excluded dominant. I liked McDowell’s season last year and supported him. Didn’t take any bait for me to say McDowell had good season last year. Guess you took the bait.

Jensen seems like a great fit here.
Too early to know his role.
May the best man win.

With that said, I'm not sure what to think of those being negative of him.

To be rostered qb on USC, a qb either is very talented and or has a lot of potential. Often, with a program like USC, it's usually a matter of sitting behind an all American, NFL potential qb.

Lincoln Riley had to think highly of him to have him on the roster. Riley knows qbs much better than most. That alone gives me optimism.

Seriously, why would Riley waste a roster spot on a qb that wasn't good? Sorry, I can't buy that.

Plus, Jensen will likely get 2 years here.
I'm sure, if he applies for another year, he'll get it.

I'm looking forward to watching all our qbs develop. I'm hoping, collectively we have a great season at qb next season.

The only QB on your list that matters. The only one with a BSC championship and trip to the national title. How many interceptions did Sneed throw against Weber in the playoffs?

The question is why would we waste a roster spot? Forget it. That is pretty obvious we do it on a regular basis. QB development is not something we have had in the pass but we are good at putting them on the bench.

^^^^^ Yep. No D1 stats yet. However, on the roster at BYU and USC. If he wasn't any good, he would have been cut from the team. Should be obvious that he has something to offer. Depth at QB is a good thing. Now lets get some O & D line dudes!!!

Go Griz!

If you actually watched that entire season with Sneed you have to realize he was a great player. Tough as nails and could run and throw. One bad game in bad weather is not any indication of how valuable he was. I rarely have seen a guy take shots like he did and come back and make a big play in the same series. He was and still is (because he is still playing) a top notch competitor and a quality FCS QB.

Dalton Sneed was a winner, and a damn good QB. That record Toure set for the FCS had Sneed throwing him the ball. The way that season ended was heartbreaking for everyone, but that kid gutted it out game after game and I would take him over all but three or four Griz QBs of my lifetime.

He is also a phenomenal ambassador for the Griz. He has wonderful things to say about the school and the community, as well as his experience with the team. That is also appreciated.

90% of the problem Sneed's SR year was him having to come back from injury too early. I was at the Idaho game where Humphrey started and threw two picks in the first quarter (plus a fumble) and Hauck was forced to bring in Sneed (who was recovering from an injury sustained in the Sac St game) earlier than he'd have liked. He managed to stay healthy, but then reinjured his leg and basically played the Weber playoff game on one leg.

He's top 5 of my favorite Griz QB's of all time.
