He was still a member of the team whether he announced his intentions or not. You are suggesting he was punished for possibly utilizing the portal which is generally used by thousands in college football.

Not punished, just not picked to start. Why wouldn't a coach want the player who would be there for 3 more years to get the experience? Why would he waste any more play time on "developing" the QB leaving the team, especially if both QB's graded roughly the same? Last time he played Fife had two fumbles. His sack fumble lost the Weber game in OT. Say what you want but that cavalier protection of the football is the kiss of death in BH's program.

I get it. Three more years of mediocrity trumps a chance to win the game against SDSU.

"#TMC" is a Nipsey thing. It signifies grinding and moving forward toward your goal, not giving up and quitting.

"praisejah" and "god did" with the hands is signifying God brought him to where he is at in life, and that God sees his value.

"Never diminish your value for those unable to see your worth" is a pretty common and popular message about respecting yourself, I don't see people using it as an attack on people.

I'd think this is much ado about nothing.

I don't get the mediocrity comment. You thought 2023 was mediocrity? I don't even agree 2024 was mediocrity. Below expectations and a disappointment, but hardly mediocrity. Even beating Weber or UND would have gotten UM a better seed, first round bye, and easier next round game (and maybe a win). Even a win in the round of 16 would have been a decent season, although below expectations. Not good enough in 2024, but I believe UM has a terrific program and very good coaches. So, really only 2 bigger losses in the Portal and not many players in Portal. I hope the coaches kicks in the Portal and that there are lots of next men up.
 
Fife excellent talents, he was a "portal player" before he even got here. Sounds like he went to NM State I believe, maybe 3-4th team so far. For his sake hope it works out for him, it's just another team. In the meantime, maybe he obtains his degree and a good job down the road. And when he gets that job, he can always keep looking for the next one, he knows how to do that!

Hi! I wasn’t referring to 2023 which was a great year. There were problems in 2024 such as offensive play calling and the qb issues culminating with Bobby’s display on national tv. I haven’t given up on Bobby, but I have concerns.
