Ferris St back in title game

See they are 13-1 and playing Valdosta St again in a D2 title game. Wonder if they are trying to move up to FCS as they seem to dominate their division. Similar to a tarleton state who is now doing well in FCS

I thought many Griz fans thought Ferris wasn't any good, no D2's are any good, playing and beating a D2 wouldn't help in playoff selection and in fact would hurt, and playing Ferris last season hurt us in getting seeded and to the championship game? I know you certainly weren't one of those fans.

If I had my choice, egriz would have a designated number of say 12-15 posters who would be allowed to make more than 1 post per day. That is, the ones who have a good understanding of the game and/or have good information, like yourself. Many of the rest just muck up the board. Many others are perfecting fine too. Without all those other know-nothings posting nonsense, my number of posts would be less than 5% of what they are now, as I wouldn't have to correct posts/information and fight off little keyboard attackers.

I think where D2 hurts you is if you're a bubble team. IMO beating a D2 vs. losing against an FBS team is the same, so you might as well play an FBS team.

Happened to EWU a few years back where we were "first out" or whatever and barely missed the playoff cut. Scheduling a non-scholie FCS and beating them probably would've gotten us in.

But what you think is usually not right. A win is still helpful. A win against a school like Ferris is definitely helpful. A loss against a D1 isn't helpful. A loss against a good D1 doesn't hurt much, and a not-so-bad loss against a good D1 can be helpful. Last year, the win over a pretty good Ferris was more helpful than hurtful. A D2 game can hurt if it keeps you from having 7 D1 wins.

You were the first reply post on this thread, posted absolutely nothing about Ferris moving up, and only word-puked about both your inflated self-image and somehow your persecution complex at the same time.

You suck the air out of every thread, including this one.

Back to the topic for those that want to discuss it, I wonder how Ferris’ finances/donors are and if they would be able to handle the costs of moving up (salary, infrastructure, etc.)

Does anybody know where they are financially?
