Smith has had 14 guys jump into the portal. Two have committed to other schools thus far. Interesting…players encouraged to move on? Players unhappy with the new system under Smith? Players simply looking for more playing time or NIL money? Victims of the 105 rosters limits? I always liked Jonathan while he was Griz OC and have wished him success. Will be interesting to follow the original State and see how the portal plays out for both Smith and for outgoing players. It will be a small sample size but interesting to see how many players find new homes and may somewhat indicate the state of the 2024 portal.
