I would welcome it. Think of the money we could raise for NIL by charging posters for the questions he would be asked during his deposition. It could be like the Griz Fan Pod but for donations. We could set up private events so people could view his cellphone and email conversations with "big" boosters.

Not only am I friends with some of the big boosters, you don't even know who they are. You haven't answered my prior question, to my knowledge. Are you from Helena or post from there?

Ugg. Hoops you know this isn’t as intimidating as you think it is. IP geolocation lookup isn’t particularly accurate or reliable, especially in “rural” areas like Montana.

And we’re not even getting into VPNs…

But the real issue is the level of narcissism required to threaten litigation over posts referencing an online persona on a college sports message board.

I haven't threatened litigation. I am not trying to be intimidating. Just asking a question. How about posters like yourself who think its cool to use my first name? What are you trying to show or accomplish?

Or, let's bet $100. How about that? Yes, let's bet $100. This would be a great way to prove you are a liar.

I can’t even tell from this post what you want to bet on, but I assure you I would never bet on anything with you or any other internet message board poster.

As far as what you posted, you did give a reason for hiring the PI (to “track down” IC and stop him from defaming your online persona) which you described as actionable (implying threatened litigation).

No, I didn't imply any such thing. I said something was actionable, not that I would take action. You are dead wrong. You don't even understand the English language. You won't bet, because you know you will lose.

He didn’t actually in this case. He just mashed an IP address into a geolocation service.

At least I would hope he didn’t hire anybody, because if he did Ace Ventura just ripped him off for a service he could do for free himself.
