I agree generally. But they don’t have to donate every year. Big occasional donations also are critical. Don’t know why you said some of the stuff you said to me. A number of the big boosters are my friends.I’m merely stating that a “big booster” is someone who contributes a significant amount on an annual basis, say 6 to 7 figures annually. Someone who casually donates 10k or 50k “over five years” while appreciated, is not someone who should have any kind of pull. Sorry, but if you think you can attach strings to a 10k donation and get the number to Bobbie’s bat phone you’re dumb. There are only a few people who donate the kind of money that are truly transcendent of the others and should be allowed to have a seat at the table, but allowing a bunch of small fish boosters to have a say when they have made small donations or a semi significant one 10 years ago is dumb.
