It's not me terming it, the statistical data proves it. Doesn't change the fact though your constant "4 weeks of playing like ass" is a false statement. End of the day he was the beat QB we had on the roster (low bar or not) and why I feel the coaching staff was playing favorites. Now however we're going in circles again.

Don Read, Mick Dennehy and Joe Glenn got there and 2 of them won it all. They did it against better, deeper FCS as well.

Give Hauck 5 more tries against a watered down FCS and he will fail 5 more times.

I still think he was playing like ass. I have zero issue with the decision to start Ah Yat at SDSU. Fife hadn't been playing that great. This is a big nothing burger outside of people thinking that Fife was the difference between winning and losing, and he wasn't. Griz OL play was by far and away the biggest issue.

And it was even stronger during the 84 championship. Div II in the 70's was stronger than IAA ever has been.

We need a QB who actually plays well against good teams, and Logan Fife was not that guy, despite ample opportunity to be.

I would think Fife was aware that the coaches favored AhYat, thus, if he made a mistake he would be on the bench.
