Tonight at 7 on ESPN+. Nice little reset at home before 2 road games to close out non-conference. Tech's off to a good start at 10-0 and I'm sure they'll embrace the challenge tonight, but we're too talented for them to hang with us.

As for some bigger picture items, the new NET rankings came out yesterday and the Griz dropped 5 spots to 154. Dropping that St. Thomas game was huge. That was a massive opportunity for us to shoot up the rankings, but there is good news. Our final 2 games of non-conference are on the road at Northern Iowa and San Francisco. UNI is 89 in the NET despite having a 4-4 record. I think we can win that game. That would notch us a Quad 2 road win if we could get it. USF is 50 in the NET which would be a Quad 1 win if we could pull it off. The Dons have slowed down a little bit but are still a good team.

So I discovered a chink in my Griz Armor back in 2019. Huge Griz fan for nearly 40 years but back in 2019 when the Griz played the Orediggers I found that I couldn't passively watch the game without bias. As a Tech Grad and Butte native, I found myself uncomfortably rooting against the Griz as Tech kept it close and eventually won. I didn't know I was capable of rooting against the Griz but now the Orediggers come to town playing up 3 divisions with a 10-0 record. That is my Griz Fandom Kryptonite. Go Diggs!

I can appreciate your fandom. However, this team appears to be vastly superior to the team that lost to the diggers. I think it's going to be an ass-kicking in favor of the Griz.

Agreed, they'll probably lose but I think they can keep it to 20 points or less.This Tech team will probably ranked #3 when the rankings come out tomorrow and while this is not the same caliber Griz team as 2019, this is a much improved program at Tech. I think Tech will keep it competitive and walk away with their heads up.

How was that not a foul? I’ve never seen someone run into a player and knock them down on a three and not have a foul called.
 
Frontier is better than people realize. Look at Rocky MSU-B every year. However MSU-B should be in Frontier with football. MSU-B and Rocky would be 2nd best football rivalry in state.
