Does Bergen take his skills to FBS as a Grad xfr?

I'm selfishly wanting him to be a Husker.

Never mind, I double checked the grad xfr rules. I'm mistaken. I misunderstood the rule.

I believe he has eligibility left to transfer.
Him not redshirting helps this possibility.

I don't see anything that would keep him from doing so, if he wants to do it.
He literally can't.

He had 5 years to play 4, and he just finished playing 4.

My bad, thought the grad xfr was the exception. I guess I'm mistaken
I won't dog you too hard here.

There are I believe some lawsuits right now arguing that limiting players to 4 years is antitrust, so who knows, we may see the day when you can just stay in school as long as you want lol.

Thanks for that reminder. I've been wondering how I got the assumption I did?

A player has 5 years to play 4. This accounts for redshirt. Covid extended extra is over

2 medical hardship years, plus another year cut short by injury, a Covid year, and a redshirt year. He never played more than 7 games in one season in his first 8 years.
