Idk about 500k but outside of Montana and maybe the Dakotas FCS football is an after thought. Even FBS "toilet bowls" as well like to call them get more viewers then our NC game. FBS is the big time despite its many flaws. Can't tell you how many times when I mention i'm a Montana fan if the response is "oh they're D2 right?"

And yet the guy bagging groceries today in lil’ old Kingsland, TX harassed me in my Griz gear, saying “Well, MSU is still playing, but the Griz are out of it now, aren’t they?” FCS football may be an afterthought, but the Griz logo is recognized perhaps better than any other.

Honestly as a Jerry Rice award winner I wouldn't be shocked if a few MWC teams make a run at him. Fresno, New Mexico and UNLV have or will have new HCs, depending on their background he may get a look.

G has great production behind mediocre line play, and passes the eye test. FBS programs are certainly going to give him a look.

Are we giving him around that much? If not then it doesn't even have to be that much. He's an award winning special talent we are lucky to have, it's not crazy to think smaller FBS schools may target him.

If he's at risk of being poached or taking his chances in the portal? I don't know about an exact dollar figure but I'd love for him to remain a Griz so make the best offer we can.

I don't think he leaves but to think there's isn't fbs schools out there that will pay him more than we can right now is crazy

He has size and durability and speed, lots of speed, plus he has the ability to break tackles when defenders hit him below the waist, that is a coaches dream

Get him behind actual o-line and some play calling that is specifically for him, watch out

Let's just be grateful we have had him for two years and good chance he stays for all four becoming our statistically greatest running back of all time

I don't know if Gillman is going to leave, but he's going to get interest, and I'm at least more worried this year than I was after last year.

I don’t have any inside info, but the whole bottom half of the conference looks like they could be looking for offensive answers.

With Skattebo’s success in the B12, I don’t think any of the teams would be too hesitant to pluck from the Big Sky if they like what they see with a running back. And, like I said, G passes the eye test, IMO.
