If I’m Gillman I’ve gotta be thinking about my future. On his runs yesterday he didn’t even get out of the backfield before getting swarmed over. After having an outstanding freshman year and then not having as good a year in 24 he has to be looking at what’s ahead in 25? We were projected to have a great offensive line this year but yesterday’s performance exposed our weakness. There are so many question marks looking at next year’s offense he has to be thinking what are his options? If he looks at what Scattabo has done at ASU he may be wise to test free agency (Portal?). I wouldn’t be surprised to see the MW or even B10 throwing some money his way. There is so much money floating around it’s ridiculous. I could easily see $500k thrown his way.
I would hate to see him leave but he needs to think about his future. His future as a Grizzly ?????

Who, what team would offer him $500k? I have no fucking idea.

I have no idea if he will stay or go, His statistics for the two season are 968 yards and 12 TDs as a freshman and 1104 and 15 TDs this year so do not agree he did not have a good 24 season individually.

Just trying to keep up with all these options and reasons they are superior to UM.
 
This is not a comment meant to troll.

I do not see very many players on the Griz roster that would seem to be very attractive to FBS teams. Gillman could make some sense, but I don’t see many others.

I doubt there is a flurry of defections from the higher levels of the depth chart, which is good for UM but would also be something of an indictment.

Idk about 500k but outside of Montana and maybe the Dakotas FCS football is an after thought. Even FBS "toilet bowls" as we like to call them get more viewers then our NC game. FBS is the big time despite its many flaws. Can't tell you how many times when I mention i'm a Montana fan and the response is "oh they're D2 right?"

G has great production behind mediocre line play, and passes the eye test. FBS programs are certainly going to give him a look.
