The Coaching Carousel

Why is it that the only people that want Hauck as a head coach is this fan base?

Even UNLV us better off now that he left, in fact that program has never been better

Pointing out a clear contradiction is not trolling.
What contradiction? People on your rival's board made fun of MSU for missing on their first n choices for head coach, now the guy has proven he deserves to get a shot at the next level and people are recognizing it.

You're manufacturing things to get mad about, AKA trolling.

Look at the history of UNLV Football. A never ending list of Head Coaches that failed. They finally made a good hire, and/or made other changes that made the difference.

I'm as hungry as anyone for a return to dominance, and frustrated at this years steps backwards, but to put it all on Bobby is not realistic.

Do people seriously not understand the paradigm shift that UNLV has undertaken in the last few years?

They are a hotbed of NIL and they play in a state of the art NFL stadium.

By all accounts, they should be doing even better than they currently are.
Yeah, they clearly haven't paid attention.

If playing in an NFL stadium made any difference there would be a lot of teams with turn around.
Truth is they finally hired a decent coach.

What other teams play all of their home games in a brand new NFL stadium?

Can you name a single one?
Temple plays in vet stadium.
Central Florida plays in a pro stadium.
There are others and there have been many unsuccessful teams playing in huge stadiums. It doesn't mean shit.

Veteran's Stadium was demolished in 2004. You're thinking of Lincoln Financial Field (sorry brain fart), which was opened more than 20 years ago.

Central Florida doesn't play in a pro stadium. South Florida plays in Raymond James Stadium, but that's almost 30 years old, now.

No team in the G5 has anything close to what UNLV plays in in Allegiant Stadium.

If UNLV were smart, they would promote OC Brennan Marion to head coach. That guy is a rising star. UNLV is a program on the rise and they aren’t gonna settle for an FCS coach.

I would be shocked if they offered the job to Vigen, but he would be insane not to take it if they did.

Like I've been saying, this isn't 2010 UNLV. They have a much better foundation they've built up over the last few years.
