A Bigger Frustration

The fact that Bobby doesn’t feel the high priced paying fans don’t get some kind of narrative to why we had such a poor season. Problems with recruiting? Strength program? Coordination/ execution? What is exactly the reason for such a lousy 2024 campaign? Other than oh I love these guys and they played well. They didn’t play well on either side of the ball and other than Bergan special teams sucked. Pooch kick my ass!
But as long as Haslem is ok with this then well write your checks and stfu..
 
I write my NIL check every month and have season tickets but live two time zones away but whatevs I guess if Haslem is ok. My money will eventually go back to my pocket and will continue to snowball until 8k fans show up on a regular basis.

This is a huge issue for your program imo. You can do the cone of silence when you win every week. Fans, donors, and hell even the players deserve to hear "hey this isn't good enough and here's how we are going to fix it." Instead of "I really don't care." You have no goodwill when you act like that. Bobby has been successful but I think he needs to evaluate everything at this point, including his own approach.

Live or Die Hauck supporters (and there are plenty), hiding in the shadows ATM, are gonna be hella triggered when they get into some of these threads. 🤣🤣🤣

I guess I just don't understand why big dollar boosters think things are rosy and no big changes are needed and make their voices/accounts heard. If I had donated that much I would have wanted a better return on my investment than 5th place in conference, ass kicked by cats, only one home game and then blown out on the road. Maybe they like their head pats from Bobby so much they fear losing them if they speak up but to get in the financial position they are in (unless they were given the money by their parents) they must have been able to look at things and make the tough call.

I'm not here to rub any salt, it is what it is at this point, we all saw the physical situation you guys were up against the last 2 games. I just think Hauck doesn't understand that Montana is AN elite program out west but not THE. Or maybe he does but can't find the way forward. Either way I think you are an elite program with a high floor but I don't think without changes you can hit your ceiling.
 
Big donors are idiots. They have never played the game. And the idiots that have played the game, think of Hoops, don’t contribute. Let that sink in.
 
Griz won nine games this season. Had some hiccups and disappointments. Most FCS coaches will never even sniff at a nine-win season and few FCS teams east of the Mississippi can come close to the dream of a national championship in their weak conferences. Hauck is the winningest coach in Big Sky Conference history. Got beat by some fluke games this year (Weber and ND) and a powerhouse in the post season. It's football. There are many freshmen players on this roster who will fight hard to continue the Griz culture in years to come. Get over it fans.

Good grief - give the staff some time to do a full and comprehensive evaluation of the season. There is a very good chance they have not formed the narrative with current challenges and future obstacles and opportunities yet.

Most coaches don’t have the resources the staff at Montana has at their disposal…..since when was finishing 9-5 and getting pounded in the second round of the playoffs okay? Seriously.
 
The problem with threads like this is the trolls are just making assumptions that nothings going to change and next years team will be a carbon copy of this team. Like the staff is happy about the way this season went and wants this to continue. Get real people! Changes are gonna be made. I can guarantee it. How about we all just pump the brakes, take a step back from the ledge, and let the offseason play out?

IMO? Lol, Seriously, wtf do you even care? Like we’re all tryna hear what some cat troll thinks about our coach and program going forward.
 
My 2 cents I'm a supporter of bobby and honestly before he came back we've been in shambles trying to figure out our identity. When he did return that vigor and ferocity came back... the team has progressed in a lot of ways same with that support... however this year I felt we were out coached left and right... I feel despite the years of coaching we have with our staff as a whole the production and or play calling feels stale..

in ways I feel the game is passed by these coaches and we need a young spark... I'm no coach and and cannot give the first idea what is going on behind the scenes, cohesion, nil, fights etc all I can do is judge by what I see...

these are just thoughts and feelings off the top of the dome...

I bleed maroon no matter what and support our university no matter what...

Time to rinse and repete and patiently wait as a rabid fan for transfers, spring ball and all that fun stuff..

Up with Montana
