My wife looked at me and said "i bet bobby wont play logan because hes hitting the portal"..
my response was he prolly wont play because fumbles haha...
Whats the announcement date for fcs Dec 9th... bet.. and on top of that I've a feeling eli gilman is gone too...

I think a lot of players will be leaving. No cohesion with this team and it seems like theirs animosity amongst the staff and players. Next year might be even worse than what this was. We will see. The whole vibe was off all season.

I've been a huge Bobby supporter through out it all but, this was just too horrible. No passion. His buddy system has got to go. If he stays he needs to fire Cooper, Tim, Dan Ryan, and Pease.

I'm on the fence with Pease though, he's had promising moments but, also incredibly questionable play calling as well.

And good luck getting a quality transfer QB in here after the cluster fuck this coaching staff created this season. We might even lose Huot since he never got a chance.
If the transfer is actually pretty good as opposed to Fife, it will work itself out. And there is no might with Hout from what I am currently hearing.

There has been a lot of talk about cohesion on this team. I've argued for a long time that it is a sign that things are good in the locker room when we have so few defections. We all have opinions, and a lot of it has been litigated here. I think we can all agree that the next couple of days will answer a lot of questions about where the locker room is at. If we have a bunch of kids wanting to leave, obviously there are the problems there that some have claimed. If we don't have a bunch of kids leave, especially a couple of the names I've heard people say will be running at the first opportunity, then maybe we take a breath and realize that the locker room is fine after an underachieving year.

Gonna keep my optimistic glasses on until I absolutely have to take them off.

Guess I have a slightly different perspective. For starters, I have inside info that they are not expecting a mass exodus in the portal. A couple here and there, but not bad. I think it’s likely Fife is one of those, but it’s not a huge loss.

As for next season, take a look at all the teams that are in contention this year. What do they all have in common? They all have Senior QB’s that have played a lot of ball at their current schools. All those guys are graduating and in cases like the cats and Davis, they have no one else that’s really ever seen much time against a starting D. That alone makes them not as tough as this year.

As for us, I’ve said this for a while now that I think a lot of the younger guys are better than the guys who started over them, especially on Defense. I even think some of the younger OL will end up being better players than what we had this year. Plus we got a pretty favorable schedule. We avoid Davis and we get Idaho and the cats at home.

Let’s see how the offseason goes but my very early prognostication is I think we could have a pretty good team next year.

I think the real reason for lack of defection is lack of opportunity.
