The only thing Stitt left with depth was the WR position. That's it.
Well, Stitt did influence the NFL with his offensive schemes, so I'd have to say, "no".

Every single one of those (except the Calhoun RB) would start over the people we had in those positions today.

The future looks promising at DB. With Loud and this incoming group, looks solid. OL is Germers guys, which a whole bunch of promising lineman are coming in. Luke Flowers could be a great QB(if he gets the chance)
The D line and LB positions are the most in question. But, his shit 3-3-5 doesn't really call for many dline players. The O line will probably struggle for 2 years but, if these freshman stick around it could become very good.
My two cents on this, and please feel free to correct me because I am not an aficionado on the topic.
I simply believe this coaching staff trusts our players to do their 1/11 on every play, and unfortunately, that isn't possible.
While I do NOT want a gimmick team, nor believe they need to be, it does feel to me the staff expects this team to execute at a level some are not capable. It too many times feels like pounding a square peg in a round hole too often.

Could, would, maybe. You came up with two names and AZGriz pulled about 10 from 2017 that ring pretty favorable bells for some. We've heard about what Stitt didn't leave Bobby for 6 years. Reality check seems in order.

Stitt had a 21-14 record and missed the playoffs 2 years in a row. Bob Stitts first year was okay. T2 in conference. 2nd year was 8th, 3rd year 6th in conference.
Stitt was horrible and so was Semore. Stitts teams didn't play defense. Would be an okay OC. Hauck is much better than Stitt and UM should be able to hire much better coaches than both of them.There's plenty of players to be excited about in the next year or 2.

Still remember sending 6 on a 3rd and 30 that ended up being a first down. That was it for me. Actually the co-DCs sent 6 on a third and 20 that ended up being a first down as well, probably mid-season this year.
