The video of the play. I watched it a dozen times or more, frame by frame. I was at the game, sitting with several former football players and a current ref, and we all agreed with what I have said. We had a very good view. You weren't there. You are biased. The video and official stats, nor the 25 and his people, or the coaches, don't agree with you. There was not even a replay of the video on tv. You are wrong.

I can admit I originally thought it was OPI too. I have watched the play frame by frame and now agree that your description is accurate.
And just so you know I played the game. I was the starting safety and tailback on my 7th grade team. We went undefeated, so … yeah … I know what I’m talking about.

You know, they should just get rid of video replay review. The officials should just consult Hoops and his entourage of definitely not made-up referee/ former player friends. They can make the call.
I mean, the TV feed doesn't show what he sees from his very good view, and how do we even know if the replay official ever played the game?

I reached out to a couple people that I know, and the official in question has been working college games for about a decade. Sounds qualified.

The fact that you can actually look at the video, seeing the ball in the air as #45 pushes the TE in the back, and say the D PI was unfounded is beyond stupidity. That is abrasive ignorance. Who gives a rat’s ass if the head official announced the wrong number on the PI?
