The blonde female ref was bad

Washington Redskins will get their emblem back. North Dakota will get their Fighting Sioux name back to.

Believe in? Like the Easter Bunny?

I would love to see your women-support awards! Maybe post a pic of the trophy or something.

Misogyny and racism are both forms of bias. I didn’t call you a racist. I made a hypothetical scenario as a comparison to demonstrate how ridiculous your misogynistic take was. And I stand by it.
Again misogyny is not the same as racism. That’s what I said. Partner of Year for mentoring associates. Nominated and supported by 3 female associates. I was given 2 free round trip airline tickets anywhere in the world. My wife and I went to Hong Kong and Philippines. I was the first recipient of the new award. It was a nice honor. I helped the one who stayed at the firm become a partner. She was born in Viet Nam during end of War and she and her family became refugees. She went to Yale undergrad.

I'm trying to remember that referee's number and I just can't. And nether can anyone else, I suspect. You could say the position she held, but who knows the difference between a back judge, umpire or referee? Some but not all. So you are left with physical identifiers to describe the the particular ref you are pointing out making the bad call(s). Perfectly fine and non-sexist.

The DEI cross-reference is what brings into question your motivation. Given the additional information about her background, showing a lack of experience for a playoff assignment, probably warranted in this circumstance.

Overall I thought the crew was in over its head. Just right for a Big Sky playoff game.
I looked up her name and her background before my post.

Rather than your sexist title(you never mentioned the gender or hair color of the other zebras) you might of just wrote about the poor quality of officiating in the fcs.
Here's an article on a really pissed off coach

I said exactly what I thought and wanted to say. If it triggers some of you, so be it. Except for a quarter or so of odd calls or calls overlooked, I liked this crew. I said that in another thread early on.

I didn’t say it was. They are comparable forms of bigotry, however.

Your award doesn’t sound made up at all, btw. You should put “Inaugural Partner of Year for Mentoring Associates” in your tagline. Very impressive.

Will do.

I have a penchant for confronting unbridled douchebaggery.
I will run you out of the gym. The bias is on your side not mine. I have dealt with more prejudice than you have ever observed in your life. You make stupid assumptions. You are just a liberal posting on a football board. I assume you don’t know anything about football.

A true douchebag is someone like you who comes on the internet and starts accusing someone he doesn’t know or know anything about, of some of the stuff you have been saying. Doesn’t bother me. I look forward to kicking you and your comments all over the board. You will be spoiling the experience for most of the other posters. Posters will surely grow tired of you fast.

There were few male partners in my firm, other than Fritz Mondale, who mentored more female lawyers.

I am sure they were lucky to have a big, strong man like you to guide them.

I'll bite. What bias?
I assume you don’t know anything about football.
Now you're trying to hurt my feelings.
Doesn’t bother me.
Clearly.

I am genuinely sorry for any prejudice you received over your lifetime. There is no place for that in society, which is exactly why I posted on this thread to begin with.
Your bias is seeing the words woman and DEI and assuming they show misogyny. They don’t. You appear to be a woke Harris supporter and are still smarting from your ass-kicking. People like you who don’t understand the current US are pushing more people towards Trump. Until you wake up, you and your ilk are going to get more of the same.

Biased against mysogynists? Ok. I can live with that.

Pretty sad to resort to political name calling. Misogyny isn't political, and neither am I.

And your bias was seeing a woman and assuming DEI. As for the rest of the word salad, it has zero to do with MBF's post.

I have to chime in here and say I agree with this who say there is no reason to call out the hair and gender of the official (and yes it was a terrible call). For year on this board, especially on the basketball board, I have seen references like “the bald dude was a terrible, or “the short bald official is an idiot”, and even “ the short fat bald idiot has not business officiating”.

To blame an officials incompetence of their follicle count, height or physique is hurtful amd breeds prejudice against those who are often at the bottom rung of society - husky, short bald people.

Sure, short fat bald guys had a brief shining moment in the ‘90’s with Marisa Tormei, but that doesn’t compare with years of being passed over, ignored and shoved aside in social political and work settings.

Let’s all pull together and look past each others short comings and judge each other on our competency and not physical attributes

Thanks for listening.

No. I looked up her background. You didnt and don’t know. Look, I advised on DEI for a couple decades. I know DEI. What’s your DEI and legal experience and expertise? I know you are a big mouth liberal.
