He started his career scorning the Bobcats. Not to shabby. Followed that up with putting the 2021 offense on his back at the RB position he had never played and wasn’t suited to his strengths. Respected him immensely after that year! Last year’s championship run only existed because of Junior magic. We are very blessed to have watched 8 punt return TDS. Truly an amazing record! Top 5 Griz career in the posters humble opinion.

What we have gotten to witness from him has been nothing short of remarkable. One of the best Griz players of all time. It’s incredible how many games he has won almost single handedly for the Griz.
Jr. knows how to play smart. He reads defenses extremely well and waits for his opening. I don’t know that he is durable enough or fast enough for the next level but he has been a pleasure to watch.
And speaking of Gillman, his patience on that 59 yd. TD run was a thing of beauty.

For a long time I thought J(just) L(like)M(magic) was the best I had seen. Jr is better; not taking away from JLM but he is faster and has better vision. Nobody has ever been as patient as JLM for waiting on the defender to miss but Junior? WOW!

True story: about five tears ago during their intra-city rivalry game between Billings West and Billings Senior, five black and gold clad West High defenders appeared to have a gang sack of the white jersey Senior High QB, when all of a sudden, a white jersey popped out of the mass of black and gold and sprinted about 40-50 yards into the end zone. That Billings Senior High QB: Junior Bergen !!!

Would you quit calling Fife "Logan". You sound like a Bobcat fan. Junior earned first name status a few years ago. Fife hasn't.

I doubt it happens but it really should. Bergen is an all time great and totally exemplifies what it means to be a Montana Grizzly. Humble kid from Montana. He's always at his best when his best is needed. His playoff heroics last year is the stuff you tell your grandkids about. Now that he tied the all time PR record and AGAIN carried the Griz to a playoff victory I think it's sealed in my mind. He deserves to be up there next to Super Dave and Dillon.
