Playoff talk and info

I think you will also see a lot of empty seats that are normally filled when there is a positive feeling for the potential of a team. This is not a year of that. I will be there, but I already have heard from multiple season ticket holders near us that are not going. Regardless of what some on here say, a big chunk of griz nation has a lot of questions with what has gone on this season from the staff with offensive play calls, co-defensive coordinators production, QB rotation, lack of Gillman carries etc and the obvious lack of dominant lines. The costs of attending (tickets, travel, hotels, meals) starts to be not as worth it after seeing what happened in the 4 losses. You even hear/see the questioning, low opinions by former players on pods and twitter and that is very unusual. Would have been better if not on ESPN2, more will stay home to watch and nationwide audience will see a partially filled stadium.
Yup. I am planning to fly from Phoenix for the game.

You are correct but that was pretty obvious IMO. For a sports writer he should have done better with the at large but that requires more work and though. That's my point.
The large several at-larges are very difficult. Even the committee struggles with those. The chair said this was the most difficult selection of his 4 years on committee.

Sheesh, these kids are worth supporting! Just because you aren't crazy about the coaching or how the season played out doesn't mean you should stay home and not go cheer for these boys one last time! I'll be there. Would love to give TN State a proper introduction to WaGriz!

And for all of you who are saying the cats have the easiest road to the championship game, sure, at least to the Semi's, but USD beat the tougher of the Dakota State schools and should have beat both of them. USD will give the sCats all they can handle. They are fortunate that they get them in Bozeman.

I will be there cheering as loud as ever

As frustrating and as wierd as this season has been a lot of these players took us on a fun ride last year and this is their last wagriz game and at night against a fun new opponent

I'm fired up and already ready to go

Always tough, and made more so by the fact so many FCS teams now play 12 games. Used to be, (7-4) defined the "bubble." Now that magic number is (8-4). May not sound like much, but it's that much more data to assess and make comparisons.

12 games are only allowed in FCS when the Saturday schedules fall within certain dates. That's what determines whether teams can play 11 or 12 games. Of course, teams could opt to play less games. The Ivies play 10. I think another conference, maybe Patriot, does that too.

Last time to see some really good kids. A unique matchup. Will be there cheering as always.

Every year. Besides maybe last year. Griz always seem to always have NDSU on their side which is arguably the toughest team to have on there.
Hmm. We got NDSU in second round in 2023, we got Weber and SDSU in 2022, 2021 we got a fairly fortunate draw but had to beat Sam Houston and SDSU, 19 we got NDSU early. This is the first year in a long time that SDSU and NDSU have been on the same side as the cats got the one.

And it’ll still be the biggest crowd by a factor of 2, minimum.

Jesus—take a basic English writing class next semester. In ‘21 the cats wouldn’t have made it 2 games if you were on the other side of the bracket. Everybody knows that.

Hmmm didn't they beat SDSU and the #1 team on the road in route to Frisco? Griz fans can be ridiculous. Now they are saying that the cats still haven't played anyone and that their own team sucks. I guess the hatred runs deep.

NDSU/James Madison/Montana > over rated Sam Houston/still up and coming SDSU/msu

Those were unbalanced brackets. Fans called it out as soon as it was announced.
