popo was at the game, and not having seen it on TV, I can tell you it was a worse beat down in person..
from the cats first drive I knew we were in trouble.

How was the crowd? Didn’t seem very loud on TV. Both teams didn’t look like the crowd was doing much to hurt/help them - is that a fair assessment?

no the fans were on their feet and loud the whole game..WaGriz is louder but cat fans definitely know how to be loud.

Thanks for posting that! Definitely didn’t come through on TV. Those grandstands are so ghetto. Hope it was a good experience for you (outcome notwithstanding)!

outcome sucked big time...but the experience was top notch. Cat fans were great and gracious and the atmosphere was as good as it gets for a college football game. I will say before, during and after I did not see anyone not having a good time and never witnessed a single Cat fan being an ass. I really like how their tailgate is set up. Hitch hiking home after the game sucked tho as was soaked by the time I hit the interstate and about froze on the way back in the back of a pickup...nobody wants to let a soaked drunk inside.. oh will was appreciative just the same.

it is amazing how many people told me they were nervous about the game..most said they expected it to be a close game. some said they thought it might end up in a shoot out like the ewu game...wish it would have ended up that way.

Well the previous time they went for it on 4th down didn't work out very well so the odds weren't good either way.

Bobby talked about it in the post-game. Said they lost yardage on third down and got what they wanted with the punt inside of the 5. He just didn't account for the best player on the field breaking an 88-yard run.
