Good:
- the Griz found a way to win and solidified a top 16 spot in the playoffs, regardless of Griz-Cat game
- Fife coming in to save the day and put the team on his back to get the win. At one point he was 9/11 for 197 with 3 TDs and 1 rushing and a 333 QB rating. Without him coming in I truly believe they lose at game. They had nothing going for them until he sparked them.
- the run game got going again for the first time in 3 games. Gilman had 134 on 14 carries avg 9.6 ypc and the Griz ran for 199 yards averaging 6.4 ypc
- love how Racanelli has been playing (and he wasn’t announced with seniors so I think he is coming back for 1 more!). He had 4 grabs for 102 and a TD
- Fontes ended the day with 90 yards on 6 grabs and a TD
- Klucewich had a phenomenal day on defense. 2 picks and some big one on one tackles on the edge to stop 1st down conversions
- Griz defense overall forcing 5 turnovers is a recipe for success

Bad:
- too many drops by the WRs early on. This led to 3 and outs early
- offense in the first half was non existent
- took too long to adjust to PSU rushing game and slow it down. Need to set the edge better

Ugly:
- the Fife/Hauck scuffle wasn’t great to see but they did hug it out and discussed it in post game. I can’t blame Fife for lighting Hauck up after how the coaches have handled the QB situation this season. maybe this will be the spark needed in the end?

Feel free to add…..

The D gave up 213 yards rushing in 51 carries, for 4.2 per carry. 51 is a lot of rushes. Griz averaging giving up 138, and 3.7 per rush. Yes, Griz had trouble on edges into the 3d Q, but then pretty much cleaned that up. Again, PSU scored 2 TD's on the D including the long pass where our defender fell down. My view is that some of you are not giving the D enough credit. The coaches are saying good things about the D in the last several games.

I don’t know if Fife’s relatives come to the games. If they do, it must be agonizing to see what Fife has faced this year.

Was there any kind of explanation from Barnum as to why they completely abandoned the passing game? That seemed very weird to me…
