IMO, Fontes is a 50/50 receiver. He is not elite.
Fontes hands are bipolar
I think he has terrific speed, but not elite hands.
Been waiting since 2021 for him to break out, I just don’t think he can focus enou to let his athleticism shine. It’s all in his head.
Agreed. He does make some terrific catches but has baffling drops.

With his straight line speed, I do like them using him on kick return. I would've let Bergen heal up and put Fontes and X back there together earlier. And then still have the shiftier Bergen and Deck returning punts.
