The sacrifice now for later mentality is usually evident in the first year or two of a coaches tenure (if at all) when he has some leeway with the AD and fans but very rarely later... the hunt for a new contract usually requires winning now not later...Good grief. This is NOT a thing in Division 1 football.
Coaches simply do not sacrifice the now...for the later.
Winning matters...head coaches are not just working their asses off to win for their jobs, they are working for their assistants' jobs...
This is not news.Develop AH YAT
I got news for you. Bobby does not need a new contract. The sacrifice now for later mentality is usually evident in the first year or two of a coaches tenure (if at all) when he has some leeway with the AD and fans but very rarely later... the hunt for a new contract usually requires winning now not later...
Well look at this way. At least somebody tells you the truth.Look, I'm just happy there's yet another thread on the QB situation....

Speaking in general terms not specific to Hauck ... my feeling is he can stay in Missoula as long as he wants short of some massive scandal...I got news for you. Bobby does not need a new contract.
And he can do what he wants because he is the head coach for as long as he wants the job.Speaking in general terms not specific to Hauck ... my feeling is he can stay in Missoula as long as he wants short of some massive scandal...
I share an office with a knowledgeable gris alum/fan. In our discussions we think the same thing, what neither of us understand is that um is still in this for playoffs and the focus should be on winning as many games as possible rather than building for the future.Develop AH YAT
Did that if you were paying attention.I guess you should have given all of us a clue sooner.
