What seed will Griz be if they win out?

IMO @ 9-3 with a couple good wins and a win over #2 cats at bozangeles = 6-8 seed
Could happen. Probably not. Hope it does.
Go Griz!

Depends what happens with the other games but we win out possibly 4 no less than 6. No possible way for all the other teams ahead of us to all win out if we win out. the MVFC all have top teams playing each other in the next two weeks so one of the south dakota schools will lose a game at least and the bison have two games that are not easy mo state and south dakota...the rabbits still have to play mo state..potentially all 3 top mvfc could lose a game...Idaho should not lose unless there is a fluke...Davis probably will lose to the scats but if not that throws a wrench into the seeding as they scats would have two loses...mercer will lose one game for sure and possible 2, UIW could lose 1 or 2 but most likely not.

SEMO can finish 10-2 with a win over 7-3 Tennessee St in the final week. They would be ahead of a 9-3 gris. Richmond can easily go 10-2 and undefeated in the CAA, so they would be ahead. Both DSUs should finish ahead. Davis will be ahead. I think SD finishes 8-3 and just below. If the Cats beat Davis, then the Cats are ahead aven with the head to head loss, but probably just below if we finish at 10-2 vs 9-3 due to the head to head loss.

Add them up and it should be 5 teams with a very hight probability of finishing higher, so that's a #6 seed at best imo. As mentioned , an 11-1 Cat team will be ahead even with the loss in the final week, so that's a #7. It's also possible for the SD to pull and upset and creates a situation where the DSUs and SD are ahead, and the gris fall to a #8.

Between a #6 and a #8. Final answer.

I’m thinking the Griz might drop their last 2 and finish the season on a three game skid. The positive spin to that would be that it could lead to changes in defensive scheme and personnel.

They'll fall right to PR's sweet spot. Round of 24 host for a "big home playoff win". Another successful year for Bobby and crew. QB Club memberships will soar to levels Northern Colorado and Portland State boosters can't ever hope to compete with.

The expectations of Griz fans based on the last 11 years amazes me. Since 2012, 11 seasons, the Griz have finished 6th or worse more times than 3rd or better. They have exactly 1 BSC championship. The best 3 seasons since 2012 have happened over the past 4 years. Yet people are unhappy.

Some must want to get back to losing more games. Let’s get rid of Hauck. He wins too much. And he couldn’t even win the championship last year.

The Griz aren’t very good this year. Plenty of teams that aren’t very good lose their senior days
And neither is Portland State, and even in some of our worst seasons like 2022, we still kicked the shit out of Portland State. Yes, we're not a great Football team, but Jesus we're not that bad.
