GFP recording Monday this week - with Shaun Rainey

Who is most likely the push behind the two QB rotation that has essentially tanked our season? Bobby or Pease?

Ultimately HC has the final say. But we all know Bobby is also loyal to a fault to “his guys”.
 
Sack of Potatoes ? Revisited

When presented with a choice of two sacks of Idaho and Washington potatoes which could be used for fries, bakers, mashed etc. Which would you choose and why?

Answer: you would choose Idaho.Why,because they are the best quality,most consistent and have the best flavor.

This question relates to a stats discussion on Egriz official game day thread for Cal Poly.

How does it relate ? You have two quarterbacks, both with equal stats.Just because the stats are equal that does not make them both equal as quarterbacks.The best quality and most consistent will in turn be the best quarterback.
 
Tricks up your sleeve? Now that colder weather has come Bobby is wearing a long sleeve hoody.Since we have not seen many trick plays this year could it be that Bobby simply has had no place to hide them and we should see that improve ?

Is this the most frustrating season to watch as a fan in recent memory? Feels like a few other seasons in the last half decade where the team isn’t reaching their full potential.

2021 Preseason #2. Finish 10-3 and 6-2 Lost in quarterfinals to JMU
2022 Preseason #1. Finish 8-5 and 4-4 Lost in second round to NDSU
2023 Preseason #6. Finish 13-2 and 7-1. National Championship Appearance
2024 Preseason #1. Currently 7-3 and 4-2

Thoughts on having the target on your back? Griz have not handled it well.

Kaden Huot is 6'4" and 210 lbs. Given his high school film shows he can throw and run, would you, if you were the coach, give him a chance or would you say, I need to stick with the two I have chosen so far despite their struggles?

When Shaun is in the interviews with Bobby, does he feel, by the way he answers, that he is frustrated with their play or is he just trying to get out of the room? Does he agree with Andrew Schmidt that this team is just not that good this year?

Any chance of getting a former GRIZ qb on to openly give their thoughts of being in a 2 qb system like this one? Who is the qb that wouldn't be afraid to speak up?

Personally, I'd like to hear from Sneed.
 
Do you think Fonoti should have got an opportunity with the ineffectiveness of our two RBs?
I think he is more of a north/south runner. Gilman has seemed hesitant as of late. It looks like he is trying to bounce everything outside and as a result with our poor O line play has been extremely ineffective. Last night we needed a back to just put his head down and explode up the middle to grind out some tough yardage, given how the O line was getting blown up.

Regarding the QB situation, why is this so mismanaged? if the entire team were anonymously surveyed, what percentage do you think would respond that rotating the QBs has been the correct choice?
 
Coaching Staff losing us games with bone headed play calls and the QB rotation fucking us up.

-Will the backlash from this game and apparent failure of the 2 QB system will the coaching staff at all this year knock it off? And if they don't time to find some new ones?

-What the hell happened to our run blocking the last few weeks?!

-Is Fife gone? And are we only playing Ahyat due to being a legacy/behind the scenes shenanigans?

Why don't the reports, including Shaun, challenge Bobby in press conferences? Is this the worst-disciplined Bobby coached team?
 
I'm not finding any betting lines for an Over/Under on Robby Hauck's tackles in the upcoming game this week. Clearly an embarrassing oversight by the sportsbooks.

Where would the GFP members place the line?
 
Would you rather....

For this scenario GFP has just signed Andrew Schmidt to a life long contract to join every GFP recording, but only after the Griz lose a game. This segment of the show shall be called "The Schmidt End of the Stick."

Would you rather that Montana stays in the FCS permanently & have a winning record that makes people forget that NDSU was ever in the FCS. Thus, only having Andrew Schmidt on GFP once every few decades.

or

Rejoin the Pac #? conference and never have a winning season, but you get to interview Andrew Schmidt a few times a month?
