How about that PI on Loud?I felt the penalty on Rostad was warranted. However, the two tripping calls were absolutely unwarranted. In my opinion the players were rolling over to get up. I also thought the personal fouls on Klucewich and Barnum were ticky tak and not justifiable after all football is a contact sport and there was not much contact in either of those calls.
There was one on the Grizzlies near out sideline that I thought should have been called as it was obviously pass interference in my opinion but no call was made. I think it was in the 3rd quarter but I am not sure about that either. I didn't remember who was the defender and if it was Loud it should have been called. I didn't mention it because I didn't remember who it should have been on.How about that PI on Loud?
Wouldn’t the last two games have been a perfect time to rest BOTH for the three important games coming up??Bergen not 100% and hasn’t been, yet still is amazing
Eli is not 100% and it was evident last game
No, the one on loud was called. From the tv, he just stepped in front of the WR and shoulda caught it but that’s why he plays D I guess. Hauck was pretty disappointed with the call. I’m sure he’s disappointed in most calls but this looked like a really bad call on tv. Greg Sundberg is pretty honest about most calls and he had no words for how bad a call was. There was one on the Grizzlies near out sideline that I thought should have been called as it was obviously pass interference in my opinion but no call was made. There was another BS call where the CP guy didn't fumble, but they called it one. Marty M. was shocked and said terrible call. No, the one on loud was called. So I was wondering about that. Is the elbow considered down if it’s the first thing to touch? His elbow touched, then the ball come out. The ball was in the other arm, not the one that touched the ground. The ball was definitely out before the rest of his body hit the ground. I was surprised it wasn’t overturned. That’s why I questioned the elbow counting as a player down. I know they can plant a hand and not be down, not sure on the elbow. There was another BS call where the CP guy didn't fumble, but they called it one. Marty M. was shocked and said terrible call.
You’re right, I just googled this:There was another BS call where the CP guy didn't fumble, but they called it one. Marty M. was shocked and said terrible call.
What would the penalty be?Should’ve just been a penalty, not an ejection.
The ball was starting to come loose before he was down.So I was wondering about that. Is the elbow considered down if it’s the first thing to touch? His elbow touched, then the ball come out. The refs were horrible! I've never watched a game where there were 2 tripping plays called. Never! The ball was starting to come loose before he was down.
The call on Rostad was a bad call. The QB had started to run and isn't considered defenseless.
The refs, or a few of them, were terrible.
Some on here have convinced themselves AY got reps in these "easy" games to build QB depth.Wouldn’t the last two games have been a perfect time to rest BOTH for the three important games coming up??
Honest question: Do refs watch film of the teams beforehand?
What’s your take on what’s happening with qb reps? Some on here have convinced themselves AY got reps in these "easy" games to build QB depth.
They are foolish.
But, yes - Seems like that was the window to heal some guys.
The only question I can respond to is #1. The answer to that is "yes".1. Are we going to appeal Rostad's targeting call?
2. Any new info on Paniiloff's injury?
3. Is Eli not 100%?
4. Is Bergen not 100%?
I suppose nobody is 100% at this stage but wondering if its more than just beat up.
