The D had another outstanding game. Three games of good D in a row.

Gave up only 1 TD, later in game (6 min to go). That was lowest point total for CP this season, along with Stanford.

4 sacks. 11 TFL. 3 turnovers. 5 QB hurries.

CP got 63 yards rushing, for 1.7 per rush, and Total Offense of 297, 92 of which was against the depth in the 4th Q (I read in another thread).

CP had 234 of passing and 2 interceptions. 20-36-2. The main qb was 13-28.

5 - 17 3d down conversions for CP. 1 - 4 4th down conversions.

In last 2 games, UM has given up 65 and 63 yards rushing, and 297 and 218 yards of total offense. Against NAU, gave up 306 yards.

Never mind that the last 2 teams have the worst offenses in the conference. Ha. No one else in the conference has held them to 0 and 7 points. CP and UNC are averaging 21 and 12 points per game, and 347 and 285 of total offense. NAU is averaging 29 points and 382 of TO.

I know Wilson is fast and very good, but I still can't figure out how he gets through the o-line so much. I can understand the edge. I don't know what he weighs now, but he did put on some weight and presumably muscle since last season. I love how he plays.

Equally impressive is his speed in pursuing. He caught the CP running backs from behind several times. He is so damn fast that he gets in the backfield and then has to turn back upfield to catch the play. He is something else.

Agreed. He is a great guy too. Great personality. Hill introduced him to me last year.
