I think you're mistaking their recent success under Troy Taylor for them having their shit figured out. This is who they've always been. They're just regressing to the Sac State mean, back to being mediocre at best, and bottom 5 most of the time.

Sure but they got used to that success and are aiming to move up to FBS. I wouldn't think their current record is making anybody happy.
