FCS committee rankings

Nah, have beaten very strong teams, in fact teams stronger than the NDSU team the Cats lost to in Bozeman last year thanks to a blocked XP in OT. As I mentioned earlier, SDSU, and UM twice I believe were strong teams. There have been many others but I'm not going to go back through all the home games over the last five years and see how many of the teams we beat were ranked. Recently, crushed Idaho who was #7 in the country, but come to find out - everybody then says Idaho sucks AFTER we crushed them. lol
Yaya. This is more of your fantasy. Do you think blocked points are not part of football and aren't good or great plays? Had the EP not been blocked, the Cats still would have lost. I don't think everyone is saying Idaho sucks. You are making up stuff again. I have my doubts about Idaho, especially in that game, but we shall see.

Welcome to EVERY Griz win in the past quarter century.

How many times have you seen a team moved DOWN in the polls after beating their opponent 59-2?

Fantasy? So you don't think SDSU was a strong team? Or um in 2023 or 2021... neither of those teams were strong? Interesting. Not what you thought at the time... before the games.

There is some home field advantage, but I believe the quality of the teams is much much more important.

Here are some stats from 2024:

Last season, the Griz would have crushed the Cats in Bozeman, just like they did in Missoula. The Griz have gotten clobbered in Bozeman the last 2 games there because the Cats completely outplayed and outmuscled the Griz, and 2 seasons ago Tommy also killed the Griz. Those big wins didn't occur because of home field advantage.

There is, of course, some home field advantage, but some of you completely overplay it, in my view.
I disagree here. The teams who have won at home have demolished the other team because of the momentum from the crowd. You take out the crowd and it can be a lot tougher to get momentum and thus the score would be much closer.

I disagree with you. You never played the game. You don't know. The Cats and Griz have played for years, with good crowds, and until recently, there weren't consistent blowouts at home. It is just stupid to think a good crowd makes up for 30 points. Jeez, I sure hope you don't flunk out of school, as you aren't going to be a football analyst.

Hoops when did you play and at what level.

Decades ago. D1. My junior year team was ranked 14th in the nation, undefeated, and won the Lambert Trophy as the best team in the East over 7-3 Penn St. We were ranked ahead of USC, Oklahoma, Alabama, and, of course, Penn St. After beating ranked and undefeated Yale, Sports Illustrated did a several page article on the game. No. 1 of the Tailgate Set.

1970? My parents weren’t even alive 😂

But I think we both know the game is a little different after 54 years
