Good, Bad, Ugly - UNC

UNC has minor comparison value. Davis will have much more comparison value. Not sure EWU will have much comparison, but will wait to see. Idaho was great comparison last year. Also NDSU. Bobby doesn’t run up scores like Cats do. He kneels at end of game on 1. Doesn’t run it in with 8 secs left. So, score and margin won’t be key CP comparisons.

Cats have had easy schedule. Griz have had harder schedule. Recent head to head is usually much more of a comparison. But I look more at both teams in all their games to compare. I watch the Griz get better as time goes on, and the Cats peak too soon. That certainly happened last year.

It’s not that hard if one knows and understands the game. You clearly don’t, so you make so many mistakes and say dumb
things.
Ha! Bobby is the king of running it up. Regarding the Cats, ISU had just scored a TD to make it a 17 point game and THEN tried an onside kick. Apparently they were still doing whatever they could to win. Hell yes I'm going to try to score again in that situation. This isn't pussy ball.

No, Davis will not necessarily have much comparison value because you get to play them at home whereas the Cats have to travel to UCD. Tell me you don't understand that concept, i.e. that both Cats and griz have a huge home field advantage worth at least ten points?

Finally - why the fuhg isn't EWU a good comparison? Cats and griz both have to play them on the red turf. Are you going to wait until after the game to tell us if it was a good comparison or not? LOL

Just like you will say Davis IS a good comparison after the game if you throttle them on the road.

Comparisons of mutual opponents are good no matter where they are played. Your comment was stupid.

No, I already said it's NOT a good comparison... before the game. That's how it works. Feels like PR won't admit it's a good comparison - because that leaves it open to say "Well EWU didn't play well against the Cats like they did against the griz" after the game, if the Cats show better. All good, we'll see how it all shakes out!

No, you thinking home field advantage doesn't make a huge difference in how games play out the majority of the time is stupid. Really stupid actually. Do you really thing the Cats were 40 points better than the griz in 2023 and 2021?

PR, just curious why you think Davis will have much more comparison value and you're not sure if Eastern will have much?

I was listening on the radio, and the Griz could have ran a last play and didn't...same effect as a kneel!
They ran 3 plays inside of the 3 yard line with less than 2 minutes on the clock (the last one was a pass). That isn’t the same as kneeling it.

That being said, it doesn’t matter. The Cats shouldn’t have scored at the end of ISU (Vigen admitted as much), but none of it really matters. Neither is purposely running up scores and generally both play reserves whenever possible. It is really dumb for either fan base to argue otherwise.

Because he has a feeling the Cats might thump EWU on the Red turn whereas the griz had to eek out a squeaker on the red turf, 51-48.
I think EWU is a comparison. However, the Griz are playing much better now than they were when they played EWU. Only an idiot would say that a head to head game is not a comparison is one team plays on the road and one plays at home. I have truly never heard anyone try to claim that would negate a head to head comparison.

Ah I got you. That makes sense.

The Griz had so many demons to excise on the tampon that ANY win there would be considered a great win. Getting THAT monkey off the program's back was huge.

No, Bobby does not run up scores generally. Maybe against the Cats. He often has the team take knees.

Ugly: can we PLEASE, for the love of GOD, move Jackson to safety? I swear, it’s been almost a certainty that his first long pass play he’s getting a PI. I find it difficult to believe that neither Ford nor Lawler are better corners than him.
Agreed he’s a good tackler but challenged outside in one on one. I think 2 would be very solid rotating with safeties. Then have 37, 14 and 8 on the outside. 2 is a good player though and should be on the field handing out some hits. Coaches I believe are bringing 14 and 8 along. Matter of time and 14 will be a great one. Sorry to use players numbers.

It does? So head to head is head to head, and it makes no difference that the Cats have to travel to UCD whereas the griz get to play them in Washington griz?
It makes little difference for comparison sake. Home field advantage can be worth a few points. But most of the competition on plays and between players and the lines is the same. It is laughable to say that head to head comparisons are not valid, unless both teams have played the opponent at home or both on the road.

Again, I think Jackson is pretty good outside in one on one. He just has gotten too many PI's. Someone said he has 5 this year. I haven't seen it get beaten and give up a catch very often. I haven't seen all of all of the games, tho.
