Good, Bad, Ugly - UNC

a lot of that ranking came due to a different QB (who is now back) How would MSU be next week without Tommy Boy, not #2 worthy
Ok and with their 2nd/3rd string they were ranked 10th I believe. So are you implying we beat a top team team by 30+

We played Idaho. Then ranked 7. Your point is…..
Go look at Idaho’s wins. And losses. They’ve lost to every team with a pulse. They have beaten virtually NO ONE. And they’re your best win. So to comment about us eventually playing “real teams” is fucking comical. Or retarded.

You pick.

So going to Autzen and losing by 10 to the BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY is now a bad football team? Are you guys idiots

Has anyone said Idaho is bad? I didn't notice that. Please provide the quote/link.

Idaho then beat Wyoming by 4. Wyoming is 1-7. Beat NAU by 6. Beat Cal Poly by 5. CP led 14-6 at halftime. CP is 2-5 with wins over Western Oregon and UNC.

New Mexico is 3-5, with wins on teams with a combined record of 4-19. New Mexico wasn't bad, but they are not good either.

Oregon had Idaho 31-10 on first downs. 487-214 on total offense. Punts 3-7. TOP was 39-21. Idaho was 2-12 on first down conversions. The Oregon QB was 41-49. Idaho was 11-27 passing. Late in 3d q, Oregon went for it on the Oregon 36 on 4th and 1, and was stopped. Idaho threw a 36 yard TD pass right after that. Dumb call by Oregon. The Oregon game was over 2 months ago.

Idaho is 130 in Sagarin. New Mexico is 122. Idaho St 175. Maine is 180. PSU 196. CP is 210. UNC 229. Utah Tech is 254. Mercyhurst 258. Man, the Cat schedule really has been weak.

ND and Missouri St 112 and 113. Western Carolina 157.

As I said, Idaho is suspect at this point. The Cat win was good, but I'm not so sure how good Idaho is at this point. Perhaps due to injuries. Nice win by Cats, but I'd be careful about beating your chest over that one.

At the end of the day the playoff implications of beating a top 10 team will benefit us. I do agree Idaho wasn’t phenomenal offensively but their run defense was very good, or supposedly. The Oregon game was statistically a blowout but the fact that Idaho was able to hang with the best team in the country has serious value.

Yes we know the schedule hasn’t been tough but for 34 quarters we have absolutely demolished those teams. Overall we have outscored opponents 333-130 (58 points when our 2/3/4s were in). I’d say if we were having close games then you could question us.

The gris schedule which is ranked 30th in FCS has basically been a bunch of teams ranked 15-30. Basically first round playoff games. Now the problem is the combined score is 232-210 against MoSt, UND, WCU, EW, Weber, and NAU (not sure if EW is really a top 30). In total the gris went 4-2 against those teams and with 2 mins left in the 4th all the games were within a TD. Now the 4 wins were good as the team showed they can win the close ones but the only game that should’ve been close was the UND game and maybe you could argue WCU. You guys should’ve handled MoSt, Weber, and NAU better at home. I won’t knock the gris for much of that but they really haven’t played a very impressive team yet. UCD will really and I mean really tell you how good your squad is. You win and heck I’ll come on here and give you some serious props but lose that one and I think your considered to be a 12-16 ranked team.

No, but you are. By the way, who said Idaho was a "bad" team? Can you point that out? I don't recall seeing it.
If you say a team has lost to every team with a pulse does that not imply they aren’t good? Maybe bad isn’t the perfect word but it 100% implies they are not a good team

I didn't say anything about a pulse. Who said anything abut losing to every team without a pulse? I think you goofed up your sentence. That's why I assume you will flunk out of ME.

Jackson has been the starter all year, and the coaches must believe he is better than the backups, who are pretty good. The Griz have good secondary coaches. Are you saying T. Hauck doesn't know how to evaluate the secondary? Debate that!
If you read what I said, it was that Jackson played better last year...has he old man?

Sounds like you are basing your conclusions solely on tackles, that is misguided. He is a corner! Look at the number of pass receptions he has given up...he is playing more and is being targeted by QBs.
