He doesn't get a PI in every game. Most of his PI's have not been from being burned. He is fast and covers well, or fairly well, so he's usually right on the receiver as the balls comes. If the ball is short, he runs into the receiver. The UNC one was different.

We gave up two scoop and scores and still beat them. Their offense didn’t score a single point in the second half.

While your competition has been better they haven’t been that good. You played Mo St and UND who are both around 15-20th ranked teams extremely close and then played WCU, EW, Weber, and NAU all close and those teams are ranked around 25-35ish. Point is you haven’t played a single team that will be good in the playoffs, UND won’t get a seed and will lose early and no one you have played so far will do anything in playoffs. So whats going to happen when you play real teams?

Cats d shut down UNCO until we put 2s and 3s in. If we played starters they might’ve not scored. You can argue cat/gris defenses are close but to say the gris d is much better is crazy. On top of that our offense is strides ahead of your offense.

Yeah. That's why a true freshman was in a corner, a RS freshman was in at LB, another underweight RS Freshman was in at NT, I mean the list goes on and on, but you nailed it.

Not sure how many are on the travel team, but 55 people saw action, which may be the most this year other than Morehead State.

They aren't scoop and scores. They are forced fumbles and returns. Huge and good plays from UNM. Completely part of the game. I know you don't know that, because you never played the game and don't understand the game. The Griz schedule has been much tougher than the Cats. That's the point. UC Davis will be good comparisons for the Cats and Griz. I doubt that Idaho is going to be very good in the playoffs either, until all of their good players come back. It wouldn't surprise me if UND and Missouri State are better than any team the Cats have played. Again, I am very suspect of Idaho.

Griz shut done UNC with backups too. Griz must have more depth than Cats. A small comparison with UNC and only a small data point.

Griz O is better than Cats' O. Again, Cats have played a very weak schedule.

Jackson has been the starter all year, and the coaches must believe he is better than the backups, who are pretty good. The Griz have good secondary coaches. Are you saying T. Hauck doesn't know how to evaluate the secondary? Debate that!

So if the gris are so good why aren’t voters moving them up?

Fumble recoveries for TDs are so rare. If Tommy isn’t in the throwing motion when he gets it that takes away 2 TDs from UNM. Good for them but also pretty lucky to turn those into TDs.

What is the best defense the gris have played in your opinion?

I am not arguing the Griz should be moved up, but why isn’t the FCS playoff using the polls. Answer: because the polls suck. The fumble recoveries were great plays. Rare doesn’t take away from great plays. Thise weren’t luck. Jeez, how can you say such dumb things?

Especially media related polls....journalists that think they know football by watching where the ball goes on TV or even at the game itself and scores (especially when not comparing common opponents ---apples with apples--- and at a fairly close time in the season health/players new to systems etc .....but have no clue roles/responsibilities/or individual play level in the big picture. Add in hometeam/coverage area bias (or dislike for other team fan bases) adds to an even more of a joke rating. Best rating is probably Massey but I think other variables computers can't calculate should also be consider like recent injuries to name one. Take out one particular boobcat (not misspelled) from that team and it it a whole different team. That is why I like Fife/Ah Yat both getting a lot of good game experience and Ostmo/Gillman sharing carries much to some posters anger. I was not a fan of the one series and out for Ah Yat in that one game, or the back and forth stuff but there must be reason behind it in the opinion of coaches.
