Did I say it wasn’t a win? Did I say it wasn’t good? No …..only that they didn’t cover, thus are overrated by many fans that don’t know shit about football other than what Marty says on TV and have no real clue how to evaluate, press included. Just because people watch games doesn’t mean they know what is actually going on. I bet half on here couldn’t even explain why our lineman would have been illegally downfield that resulted in a called back TD. Or explain blocking for inside vs outside zone, or even what cover zero is. Most are tv watchers and don’t see what some other doBut wins and losses are what matters, not how you do against the spread. I am sure there isn't a coach or player upset because they only won by 24.
Don't come on this board and ask any questions. Some of these people on here are just waiting in the wings to take a shot at anyone they feel is not up to their standards.Quite a few. Sorry for posting. Safer to just read posts.
And my point, who fucking cares what those fans think. Why do you care? So much bullshit. How they do ATS is a big nothing burger unless you like to play the ponies...and if any of them know their shit, the won some bucks on that game. The entire point of the spread is to entice.Did I say it wasn’t a win? Did I say it wasn’t good? I guess I thought a starting QB would play the whole game not just in spots. Sorry for posting, I will just read from now on, it's safer.Pretty sure he did start.
Personally I think some people owe you an apologia but it will be over their dead body before you get one from them. Most of them don't like me cause I am a straight shooter with good aim.I guess I thought a starting QB would play the whole game not just in spots. I hear you, just a fan asking a question and you get treated like a second class fan. I will probably get mocked for saying this.Quite a few. Sorry for posting. Safer to just read posts.
So? We had 2nd and 3rd in as well for much of the 3rd/4th quarters. The MSU third string gave up 17
I was relaxed...and then I posted on eGriz.Relax about who plays qb.
They used this game to get AhYat needed game time reps. Albeit, a vanilla game plan. It was smart of them to do that.
Why risk Fife in this match up? They're comfortable with him. He didn't need the reps as much as AhYat!
I'm expecting this against Poly too. Just maybe with an expanded playbook.
So, a couple things: Mellott was still playing up until the end of the 3rd quarter, as was Adam jones and a number of other starters.sure looks like they kept a fair amount of starters in both ways....

Hypothetically yes, they could be overrated. As in people thought they were the GOAT but they were just the best that season and if they there truly were GOAT they thought they were would have won by a lot more each game. For example MSU could think they are the GOAT if they sweep undefeated (Scats always think they are special so they might claim GOAT) - they would not have won the last two championships minimum let alone against teams like the Marshall team with Randy Moss with their team thus they would have overrated them.
Overrating isn’t only Wins and Losses but where they rank in other aspects like ability to score or hold teams to lower scores, thus the spread was created
Maybe you confuse over rated vs over ranked
And “bad” is more in ranking not rating.
So, what difference does it make? They root for the Griz just lik you and I. They buy tickets to the games. We have sat in front of the same couple for 20 years. To this day, she usually hasn’t a clue what is happening on the field. But she is as happy as the rest of us when the Griz score/win. IMO, that’s what counts.Did I say it wasn’t a win? They need to keep Fife sharp, he hadn't played in two weeks. Agree about next week, but think it will be different vs. Davis.Relax about who plays qb.

If you don’t think point different means something with weddings by selection committee you fooling yourself. Tune in Wednesday and see if wins/losses are all they care about. Also I have cashed in on the under this season just to let you know. I never will place a bet saying Griz willSo, what you’re saying is, if Bobby had forced in that last TD you’d feel so much better about their performance because they “beat the spread”. But it would have been literally the EXACT SAME GAME with the exception of a TD scored on the last play.
It doesn’t unless they spout off as if they know more about what is actually going on in a game/ season than they truly do to argue with someone that’s truly had a clue of Xs and Os . And especially if someone points out flaws based on years of actual experience they get called out by a couch potato for being negativeSo, what difference does it make? Our center being called downfield was questionable. He never lost engagement during the play.Did I say it wasn’t a win? Did I say it wasn’t good?
