Yes, switching quarterbacks slowed the offense, and we probably could have put up 50 points if the coaches had kept Fife in and gone all-out. But I think the coaches are playing the long game here, which is smart. When the schedule gets tough in two weeks, these reps for both quarterbacks could prove valuable. Besides, the improvements on defense are what really have me excited. This team is moving pieces around, and they just might come together by the end of the year, like Bobby's teams have done in the past.
