Dudes at the Academy prep schools are there for a single reason...to get into the academies the following year. They don't go there to get noticed by other programs.

Totally. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way for them, though, and the point was just that those are the kind of kids that are generally prepared to be a good culture fit here, or could possibly be. We signed one in this last recruiting class that I know of, but I don't follow our recruiting as tightly as a lot of folks do.

I remember a few weeks ago when you posted such stupid shit that it wasn’t worth my time to post. By the way, we played a 4-3 today too
Food for thought-Montana currently has 2 defensive linemen that weigh 285 (Hayden *portal guy/Ramos)
Teams playing on ESPNU tonight: South Dakota (not state) has 6 defensive linemen over 285 (4 300+.) SDSU has 6 over 285
Remaining ranked teams we still have to play:
Davis has 7 over 285 (5 of those are over 300)
Scats have 4 over 285
So there are big guys that schools can get to play FCS despite claims here they are like unicorns. ( also likely partially due to S/C program differences). You have to win the trenches and that’s awfully hard when they are undersized. We were blessed with Gub who down the stretch played majority of series which is unheard of helping that defense).

Incorrect but thank you for playing. Most three man fronts will often walk a LB up to a 5,6,7, or 9 tech especially in a passing situation. It doesn't mean the base formation is a four man front. Even when the Bears had the ball inside our 10 we were still playing with three down linemen, three safeties and 3 linebackers. If you think Wilson, Kaho, Tirrell or Otlewski are defensive linemen you know less about football that I thought you did, which almost wouldn't be possible.
