The GRIZ Have a Long Way to Go

Through 7 games, Griz have lost four fumbles, recovered two. Griz have thrown two interceptions, caught four. Turnover margin is currently zero. While turnovers haven’t fueled wins, they’ve also not caused losses so far. I do think positive turnover margin and explosive special teams plays are rocket fuel for Bobby Ball, and without them, most games will be a toss up.
I would add hurries and sacks are what helped fuel a lot of those turnovers!

Kinda like griz fans saying we're almost 7-0. Or crapping on a team because they are 8-0 because they have played a weak schedule and made everyone look bad.
No not at all. Not even sure what you are saying which is the real point.
You bubcatz struggle with reading and writing and understanding simple words like “literally”

Three teams have a realistic shot at winning it all this year. NDSU, MSU, and SDSU. The rest are all pretenders.
Until the bubs play someone even APPROACHING that level they're absolutely pretenders. Especially after the way the GRIZ blasted them into kingdom come and then they lost their first playoff game.

I think the bobcats have a really potent offense that is on par with those teams. However, their defense isn't close. NDSU was able to stay in the game with Colorado who has loads more firepower on offense than anything the cats can offer.

I to am optimistic, but the defense needs to find another gear. They have not found high yet, hope they find the shift knob soon. A lot of the season left to right the ship!! Go Griz kick some butt going down the stretch.

So far the Cat defense looks insanely good. 8 games in and I think the starting D is giving up like 3 points per game or something like that. That's scary. That's considering they're down four players off the two deep to season ending injuries. Flame away.

You've currently played the 3 worst scoring offenses in the Big Sky, an incredibly inconsistent ISU team, winless and pathetic Utah Tech, and Mercyhurst, whose only wins are against D2 schools (they've also lost to a D2 school). You got ran over by New Mexico, but their offense looks pretty good (until they couldn't catch simple passes), and Maine was respectable.

We have our first common opponent next weekend, which should tell us a little more about your defense, since EWU's offense at the very least has been pretty good. Then you finish the year against the two best offenses in the conference (other than yours). If you can keep that average under 20 to end the year, you'll definitely have earned the scary good defense moniker, but don't get too upset if we're still not convinced.

I'm not on the same page that this defense is as good as the defense in 2021.
Gronowski looked average last night. 17-27 for 118. He very seldom tried to stretch the field. Miller looked good even with his ankle maybe 75%.
NDSU most likely has the best defense in all of FCS. They are going to be tough to put points on

I call BS on the Cat D looking insanely good. And on the BS of the starting D only giving up 3 per game. Jeez, look at game 1. Have you ever said anything about the Cat team that was accurate?
