what does that have anything to do with the Griz beating NAU and the Cats beating Idaho? I don't understand your hypothetical logic. The cats didn't play SDSU. The cats also have never put up those kind of number against SDSU.

Main Issue I have with this kind of win is that NAU probably shouldn't have been ranked, but because the rest of the subdivision is so gutted, their resume ended up in the Top 25 by default.

So NAU isn't all that good, but plays their hearts out yesterday, and the Griz defense still looks apathetic for the entire first half, so we end up with a game much closer than it should be against an opponent we should reasonably put away.

Good win for revenge, a bit cathartic, and a good getright game going into the bye week but man playing a lesser opponent does not cover up all the deficiencies we are seeing.

I agree with this, except for the ranked part. They are a solid club. Maybe #25. They were on QB3, which let's be honest, makes the team a shell of itself (unless you are Ohio State in a championship game).

Yeah. 4 years ago. Msu has 1 win against both those schools in like 6 or 7 games in the last 5-6 years. Odds are not in your favor even if you make it to Frisco
