When Was the Last Time we Lost a Game…

Maybe you shouldn’t take what he said seriously. He knows there’s a problem on D, he just didn’t wanna talk about it. I’m sure they’ll do their best to try and fix the D for NAU, but that’s why they need the bye week to re-group
Are you suggesting that he would lie? Oh my

Griz Addict pegged it. Virtually each week we’ve seen a repeat of North Dakota game second half

In short the opponent’s coaches appear to have the same playbook after watching our film. Their
offensive lines are consistently creating huge holes for an automatic five to eight yard gain on runs. Throw in missed tackles and those become twelve to fifteen yard gains. Despite not stuffing their run game with support, our secondary often looks like we are a man short. How many times have opponents caught a deep pass with a ten yard cushion between them and our nearest defensive back?

There’s two options here and I don’t like either:
Our defensive coaching scheme is whack, or our guys are not up to implementing it. In both cases the remedy needs to be found in the coaching staff

Yes we’re greatly missing Gubner, Cotton and a host of others from last year. This is not that team. Though I know this year’s squad sure as hell is better than giving up 40 plus points per game. The coaches need to alter their game plans to fit the personnel we have. There isn’t another option.
Go Griz

Well we are in illustrious company… Bama, Tennessee, Mizzou, Michigan, USC all were upset today by folks who have no business upsetting them. Especially Bama… still can’t believe Vandy hung 40 on them.
You can call it an upset if you like. Certainly, if you go by the rankings, it was an upset. However, just consider this; the last six times our two teams have met, Weber has won 5 of those. Probably not as big of an upset as you might think.

By definition an unranked team beating a ranked team is an upset. I’m happy that you’re happy.
