I have noticed the level of doom and gloom on eGriz rivals those well documented days of Delaney and Stitt. So, I have decided to let you all know the following:

As you all know, Mike Hudson is the Defensive Analyst for the Griz. I have it, on good authority, he has been amassing lots of material on the state of the defense for the Grizzlies. Since his observations and recommendations have been, evidently, ignored, he has hired a ghostwriter for his upcoming book, tentatively entitled "The Rise and Fall of Defensive Football at the University of Montana: The Reason I Am Now Bald." Sources say the new book will rival "War and Peace" in length. I have tried to contact Krackwhore for his reaction to this soon to be best seller, but I have yet to receive a reply to my inquiries. Release date for Mr. Hudson's blockbuster expose has not been set.

I was hoping to improve the overall outlook on eGriz, lighten the mood. Better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all. The mood is very, very dark at this point.

Maybe I had some impact if I got your minds off the present. Do I get an award or trophy or something for my 'dumbest post in EGriz history'? How about induction to the 'EGriz HOF'?😂

It’s interesting that so many people are so down on this team and absolutely doom and gloom. Don’t get me wrong, the defense is giving up more plays and points than I have ever seen, and the special teams is inconsistent to say the least. However, we will never have Bergen, White, Gilman, Fontes, X on the field at the same time again and this offense is what we’ve been waiting for the last several years. I’m still excited to support this team and watch this offense continue to improve and maybe that one game where they hit their full potential. And after surviving the 2011-2018 stretch, I’m pretty sure whatever happens (flame out, sputter in the playoffs, go on a run, or win it all) life will still be ok. I’m sure there are still some amazing moments for this team and fans ahead. Maybe just not what we thought pre-season. I’ll still be in the stands doing what I can to make it loud and will this defense forward.

Regardless I’m not a lifelong pu$$y like the bub fans. Go Griz.

(Sigh!)No trophy...I'll have to put my acceptance speech in the file cabinet(a metal storage container for paper records, used before the advent of eMail, Internet, and all that newfangled stuff). Sorry, kids, my age slips out every now and then.🥵

I am still waiting for my EGriz HOF induction.You will need to get in line.
 
What would make anyone think Hud's being ignored? Is he the coach you know least about so you cast him as the ignored football sage?

He is the Defensive Analyst. Since defense seems to be MIA this year, I plugged him into an imaginary scenario in an obviously vain attempt at humor. There is always a heckler or two in the crowd.
 
It was always fun to watch the Griz defense even if the offense sucked. The last two weeks I have not been able to watch all of the games due to the terrible defense. As we can see offense does not win football games.
