typical bob-losers. Take a knee show some class....karma sucks. BH took a knee 2 times?? when Griz were on the 1 or 2 yard line earlier this year.....looks like bozo would have punched it in to stroke the egos of their fan base![]()
You're comparing apples to Buicks. ISU did NOT call a TO, a helmet came off because the scats were running plays with some of their starters in instead of kneeling on the ball. THAT is SOOOO much different than a whiney coach losing his ass and calling a TO at the end of the game. When I initially read that ISU called the TO, I said "good, fuck around and find out". Then when I heard it was due to a scat player's helmet coming off that stopped the clock, which was also when some STARTERS were still in, fuck them.In Hauck's first gig as head coach, he did the same thing. It was a long time ago, and I don't recall the opponent or the specifics. The grizzlies were blowing out some opponent, and scored a late touchdown. When asked about the late touchdown after the game Hauck said, "When they called the timeout I assumed they wanted to continue playing." I'm paraphrasing because it was a long time ago, so the exact response may have been different but you get the idea.
And everyone here on the egriz loved it.
Are you unaware of what Bad Beats is?It was a big enough deal that they got trashed by a major TV personality on a major media network watched by millions upon millions upon millions across the globe. Seems like kind of a big deal.
Not really disagreeing with you here. I personally never have an issue with a team scoring late, but I can see why some do. Especially fans of a rival team. And no question had they wanted to they could have taken a knee after the time stopped for the helmet. You're comparing apples to Buicks. That said, when we got that last possession there was 4.5 minutes on the clock leading by two scores. I obviously don't know the stats of these situations but I have watched a ton of football and don't recall many teams pulling all starters only leading by two scores with over 4 minutes to play. So for me the starters in were a non-issue, but I understand people not loving the last TD.
I have no insight, but I'm curious if the way the helmet came off combined with our best defensive player taking an intentional knee to the head didn't play a part in how we ended that game? Curious if coaches were angry and caught up in the moment. Obviously I have no idea.
On that topic, I don't know the rules but the targeting stuff seems SO inconsistent. We see defensive players called for targeting and ejected and missing time the next game all of the time. How can a guy get caught kneeing a player in the head, be charged with a personal foul for doing so, and nothing else happens? That seems wild to me.
True. But we always go no-huddle. Like I said people can have an issue with the score if they want. I don't and wouldn't no matter who the team was. But the things like no-huddle and starters in up 14 don't really have merit in my view. I'll pay more attention this season but I'd expect most teams up 14 with that amount of time would play their typical offense with most starters in. But as I said if they wanted they could have taken a knee after the time stopped for the helmet. I just personally don't have an issue with it.But they were going no huddle....
Agree 100 percent on targeting.
Yeah, I'm absolutely fine with the starters in. I just think it's odd they were still running plays in that situation. There was only way you could lose that game: by running plays. If you take knees after the 2:00 TO it's over. Cough up a scoop and score, lose an onside, give up a tuddy and a 2 pointer, and isu just hung a loss on a guy because he wanted to run up the score. Makes no sense, either from a football standpoint OR a sportsman standpoint.True. But we always go no-huddle. Like I said people can have an issue with the score if they want. But someone with more knowledge than myself needs to explain the targeting to me. I get QB's get special treatment. But they're seriously allowed to intentionally knee a defensive player, get called for doing so, and nothing else happens aside from the personal foul?! I'm petty but if I was the coach that alone would have me trying to score again.![]()
No reason you would huddle. "Tommy make something up. Tommy? Tommy? Why are you limping again?". Would just be a waste of precious run-up the score time.True. But we always go no-huddle. I don’t know why, but my brain read this in Donald Trump’s voice. No reason you would huddle. "Tommy make something up. Tommy? Tommy? Why are you limping again?". Would just be a waste of precious run-up the score time.
From now on, that is what I will pretend Vigen sounds like in my mind.I don’t know why, but my brain read this in Donald Trump’s voice.
Actually I take that back. It was the voice of Shane Gillis impersonating Donald Trump.
The thing is I said we were gonna hang 70 on forehead state and Bobby took a kneeDammit it. I need to switch to the kittens as we can count on them

Your obsession with all things Griz is uncannySoooooo……lol.
Did you jokers watch yesterday’s game?
You guys did the exact thing. You even tried throwing the ball. lol.
Unfortunately you all lacked competence.![]()
You're such an idiot! Every time you post, I think this guy's family doesn't even like him. You remind me of the movie Deliverance for inbreeding reasons. Every time I read one of your posts, I feel 48% dumber. I try not to read them, but I keep thinking you'll actually post some that has a smidgen of common sense or brain power. It's my own fault. Go back to Cat world, and give us all a break. You jokers obviously didn’t watch the game. Adam Jones helmet came off which stopped the clock. Vigen ran one more play and it was a simple run up the middle and ISU should’ve saw it coming but instead Humphrey got a 10+ yard run. Probably should’ve kneeled it but who actually cares. Anyways it did help the cats cover and put some $ into my pocket.
