It's laughable, nauseating and so on brand for Griz Nation to heap all the praise on Tim Hauck last year for Ronnie Bradfords defense.

Back to being unable to stop the run. For now. There is a lot of new faces on the team. Just need to get in syncHis replacement play caller is over his head.

Isn't that what summer and fall camps are for, not two games into the season.Back to being unable to stop the run. For now. There is a lot of new faces on the team. Just need to get in sync

going through the motions was spot onI don’t see any real leaders on the offense and defensive sides of the ball. We’re definitely missing some sort of identity. The players are just going through the motions.
It was really bad for 2 quarters, 5 games in and I think most people would say it’s regressed, and I don’t believe it’s because of the competitionRealistically Best probably prepared the most for this game through the offseason/coming into fall. It’s like having a mediocre season but beating the cats makes it not so bad. Keeps boosters and fans happy. The defense just looked totally confused all game and Best knew he had to keep them on their heels to win. Just couldn’t quite get it done. How many years has be been at eastern? He knew full well the importance of the game was more than just a conference opener. The defense isn’t last year’s, but it’s not as bad as it seemed for one quarter tonight.
It's done now. It’s also to determine who’s going to be QB…but Hauck/Co haven’t been able to do that for the past two seasons either.
Huh? Over 700 yards total offense and 52 points without any leaders. Fife, Ostmo, Gilman and Bergen aren't leaders and just go through the motions. You really have it.I don’t see any real leaders on the offense and defensive sides of the ball. We’re definitely missing some sort of identity. The players are just going through the motions.
Ran the numbers, when not counting the Morehead State game (they're a bad Pioneer team) were on Average giving up 432 Yards and 33.75 points a game so far this season. It was really bad for 2 quarters, 5 games in and I think most people would say it’s regressed, and I don’t believe it’s because of the competition
Your reply is irrelevant! I could see making a point when I actually made the post 3 weeks ago. Keep typing though..Huh? Over 700 yards total offense and 52 points without any leaders. Fife, Ostmo, Gilman and Bergen aren't leaders and just go through the motions. You really have it.
Besides the 4th Q, what was the other "really" bad quarter? 1 TD ini each of other 3 quarters. Just under or over 100 yards of TO given up.It was really bad for 2 quarters, 5 games in and I think most people would say it’s regressed, and I don’t believe it’s because of the competition
Since we're cherry-picking, without the 4th Q against EWU, UM gave up 21 points and 300 yards. Sometimes games turn into high-scoring track meets. This was one of those games. EWU was very motivated as the 4th Q went on, at least on O. Their D got worn down.Ran the numbers, when not counting the Morehead State game (they're a bad Pioneer team) were on Average giving up 432 Yards and 33.75 points a game so far this season.
